Courtyard by Marriott New Braunfels River Village

Loved the access to the river for swimming and also the pool. Grounds are beautiful. Room very comfortable and nice.

No coffee available during the day. No free breakfast. For the price some extras would be nice. No notice until arrival that water would be turned off at 10:00 am the next morning for repairs. We were accommodated with a free late check out, but there should have been some notice at the time of booking.

My wife and I have several food allergies, which cannot be addressed in this type of setting. So we did not use their breakfast facilities. We travel with an allergen-free restaurant guide for every area we plan to visit, and so we ate off-site, but their central location allowed us easy access to several options. From what I saw, the facility was clean, inviting, and had several good options for a complete breakfast.

We were touring the Hill Country of Texas, and from information on Trip Advisor, this area was a must see. We were not disappointed. Lots to see and do in the area, and close to the San Antonio area. We would recommend this hotel for cleanliness, staff attentiveness, and for location. Even though it is close to the interstate highway, our room was quiet and comfortable. Easy access to San Antonio, or to Austin.

The property was gorgeous and has the luxurious feel while still enjoying the river as fun as you can. A property built to create memories that are priceless!

If I had to really choose a negative it’s probably just that unfortunately this great place is jammed right in between busy highway exit/enter ramps, so it can cause a bit of a delay, or unnecessary urgency maneuvering.

Breakfast was good but a little pricey !Also Would had liked if better if they had other options for drinks like orange juice , Apple juice, milk considering it was for the breakfast meal. Instead they had sodas and sweet teas!

I would had liked it better if they would had let us check in at 3:00 instead of 4:00.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. We had a minor issue which was taken care of immediately and professionally.

Only issue was pulling out of the parking lot on a very busy street.

We stayed from December 26th to January 1, 2021. The room was facing the river with a small balcony with two chairs and a small table. We faced east so we enjoyed the sunrise every morning. The room was clean and felt spacious enough for the 3 of us. Housekeeping and the front desk were awesome. We used the laundry facilities on the 1st floor. The machines were clean and worked great. The grounds were enjoyable as we spent time in the Adirondack chairs by the river. There were ducks, geese, and a crane on the river one afternoon. There are two outside hotel cats, which were friendly and an added bonus. The hotel was close to the I-35 entrance ramp which made traveling to sites and the Outlet Mall easy. Never heard freeway noise other than when we were in the front parking lot. Overall a great stay and would stay here again next trip.

I got the room for my son and his family. They loved it. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. In fact they would love to know what brand of mattress you have.

They liked everything. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have a room on the river side.

Love the burrito breakfast and the StarBucks. We also had cheese burgers that were great. Meat was juicy and the way the bun was buttered was so good. Also the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Either add a grab bar next to toilet or taller commode in bathroom.

It was very convenient to everything. Loved having the pool and the river access! The grounds were very nice and serene. The lobby area was wonderful for relaxing & just hanging out.

Rates were a little too much! The trash cans out front were overflowing. No free breakfast, but they did have an option to purchase meals.

Very pretty grounds!

The small sandy beach area could use some attention. I know it’s on river but the safety rope was very slimy and gross. It wasn’t awful but the river is beautiful and so are the grounds leading up to the river—the beachy part just needs a facelift!
