Here's what I told Trip Advisor: This is an economy hotel, but for an economy hotel it is an outstanding bargain! The location is convenient to the Interstate, to the city itself, and to the historic Gruene district. Nonetheless, it is far enough away from the highway that there were no traffic noises to disturb our sleep. The hotel itself is undergoing some renovation, but the work was done during the day and did not disturb us. The hotel is quite clean and well-maintained; the furnishings seem new, and the rooms are good-sized for an economy hotel. The bed is very comfortable and allowed a good night's sleep. The refrigerator was large enough for our sodas and beers as well as snacks (although the room did not have a microwave, there is one in the breakfast room).

I didn't have breakfast. All carbs or sugar. Not healthy. My room was very clean, as well as new bedding and towels. I like the pull- down shade . It kept the room dark at night. Very friendly staff!

I know they are renovating so perhaps this will change but there are no towel racks, just a hook so my bath towel was touching the bathroom door all day and hand towel just lay on the counter. The toilet is exceptionally low and those of us who are tall with joint issues find this difficult to get up and down. A wall bar would help!

Staff was super friendly and welcoming with my family, including my toddler. Hotel has been recently renovated. Room was clean and spacious. Excellent value. Good breakfast selection for the price point of rooms. Pillows were very comfortable.

The mattress is basic, but it's forgivable considering the price point of the rooms.

It was a nice room and very quiet. Big bathrooms! Nice desk area!

The room was musty dog smelling. I wish that it smelled more like fresh and clean like most hotels these days. This might be something to consider. *The hotel is in the middle of an outdoor face-lift. The construction was not the issue...the mess was. The construction workers have trash and buckets all over the place. They are not cleaning as they go.

The location was great for me to getting to and from work within 10 minutes.

The breakfast could have been exponentially better. All they had to offer was cereal, yogurt, some type of bread. If you plan on staying here, just be ready to order breakfast from somewhere else every morning.

location was good. parking was small but easy to park in. no problems there. it was close to Schlitterbahn. breakfast was ok.

no egg at breakfast. no bacon. no sausage. just cereal, waffles, and yogurt…oh and bagels. but eh nothing to complain too much about. our sofa bed was dirty. didn’t bother using it

The staff was very helpful and easy to converse with. My wife and I mentioned to one of the staff that the fridge in the room we were staying was not cold, when we returned the fridge was was in good working order.

The renovations of the facility is always an inconvenience even when it doesn't directly affect you.

Location Was the best 7 min. To Schlitterbahn & gas station. Well not nice from outside but they were remodeling. So everything went ok. Needs a little money re option on breakfast please.

More options on breakfast. Bigger pool I thought it was a jacuzzi lol. More parking . That's all.

It was pretty clean even with renovation still going. The room was really good size for the price especially the bathroom area. I would have liked to see a better breakfast layout but other than that I had a good stay. The location was great not far from anything at all

The elevator was very sketchy. Thought when we got to the top floor and it was stopping it was going to fall to 1st floor. My heart dropped to my knees. Also with so much construction prices should be lowered
