Hyatt Place San Antonio North Stone Oak

Location layout of room was nice. Easy checkin

Shower doors had hard water deposits and didn’t have a fresh clean feel. my husband didn’t like the pillows. I was happy with my sleep experience. Price was too high for the quality and atmosphere

Everything about this facility was phenomenal. We stayed for 2 nights(thurs-Sat) in a king room with a sofa bed, which my 6 yr old was absolutely ecstatic about. Our AC was set to 69 when we arrived, so we arrived in a cold room, which is exactly how we like it. The TV swivels between the bed area and the couch area. Bring a laptop if you have kids that will be sleeping on the sofa bed as the TV is right in the middle of the 2. The bathroom was spotless. No stains or anything that raised concerns anywhere in the room. I worked remote Friday morning and had no issues with the WiFi. I was able to enjoy the great hotel breakfast while I worked as well. Hotel staff was very tentative and friendly. Will book this hotel in the future for our visits to San Antonio.

My main ick was other loud guests sitting in the lobby cutting up. But this is out of the facilities' control. I'm all for a good time, but I also feel ppl should be considerate. The room also did NOT have a microwave. There is definitely room for one to be added, so I would suggest considering adding them to the rooms.

The rooms were large and spacious. The hot breakfast buffet was delicious and a variety of options were given. The pool area was a bit humid since it was indoors but overall it was great. I also enjoyed the outside seating area near the pool area. I had to print some passes for one of our excursions and the hotel facilitated my printing needs at no extra charge. Also, the guest service area gifted us a couple of free water bottles which was great due to the outdoor heat!

It was far from all of our destinations, however the hotel itself was great. When you get out of the pool area there isn't any type of anti-slip rugs and the hallway coming in from the pool was very wet. Also towels were not readily available in the pool area. A few umbrellas would be nice at the outdoor seating area...as there was no shade. I used the guest laundry room and there was only 1 washer and 1 dryer, I had to wait until another guest was done with their wash.

I liked that we had plenty of space for the kids to move around.

I didn’t like the bathroom being so impractical. There was no space to put our shampoo, conditioner, body wash and scrubs, etc anywhere. Plus, the cracks in the shower corners and floors were dirty. There’s no microwave in the room. I went downstairs to ask for a plate to microwave our food in and they couldn’t provide it to me. They provided me with styrofoam plates instead and when I told them I need it to microwave food in, they told me it should be fine. Believing that I had microwave in my room, I went back up and noticed that I didn’t. Came back downstairs to tell the staff that there’s no microwave in my room just for them to tell me that, “Oh we only have microwave here in the main lobby.” Then why not tell me that the first place!

The check in and check out process was very easy and quick. We loved that there was actually hot water in the shower, not just luke warm. The mini fridge got super cold which was awesome!

We got to our room to set everything down, left for a few hours to eat and came back to the hotel. As we were getting ready for bed, we moved and adjusted our pillows and found that on the bottom pillow, there was hair. So I flipped it over and there was a small blood stain. This has happened at other hotels and when I told the front desk at those places, they blamed me for it and said they weren't responsible and the rest of the stay would be awful. So when we found this, we didn't mention it to staff, we just placed the pillow on the floor and used the extra one that was in the closet with the extra blanket.

Hotel was very nice and in a great location

The Billing part was upsetting. After reserving the room, the following day I had 2 authorized holds on my card. Manager said it was a system glitch. Then when charged for room, was taken an additional authorization as well for room amount .. Took a couple of days for everything to clear but messed up some of my finances

Hyatt is a go to for me whenever me and friends have girl's out of town trip or if me and family have something and needed to stay the night out, i really like how fast the service and how clean the place is especially during this time of pandemic.

i usually use hyatt whenever i have some business i need to take care of in San Antonio, And i really like how comfortable and clean the bed and beddings are. However,this time im not even sure if the housekeeper clean the bed as i found a dried nasal mucus on the blanket, im really disappointed about this and made me think and wonder if they do really change everything in between guests.

Everything was phenomenal!! The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious! They have a variety of foods to choose from. Great location ample parking space and GREAT staff! I will stay here again without doubts!

Coffee in the rooms was decaf only. I will suggest having regular coffee as an option

Everything, the staff was exceptionally very helpful very friendly I stayed there as my husband was in hospital for a week wanted to stay close,the room was great very clean the breakfast was great I had such a great time there would stay there again

I liked the staff was friendly and were doing everything in there power to help the people out.check in was i bit frustrating but i understand because the lack of help.its everywhere.very nice hotel. there are restaurants near by and a Walmart.

Like every business right now.everyone is understaffed.so they were not cleaning the rooms during the stay.but clean towels and sheets were provided everyday if you wanted.i can see they don't move the beds to clean behind them.my son was playing and one of his toys fell behind the bed.i moved the bed forward to get it and saw it very dirty with cereal and collected dust.other than that everything else is very clean.
