Best Western Texas City

We had to make a last minute change to our plans, and we’re lucky enough to get the last room available. The staff was super friendly. We got a text message once we were in the room to see if we needed anything - and this was like almost 10pm! We actually did have an issue with thebtv remote, but they weee knocking on our door within 15 mins with a replacement. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. And there were lots of places to plug things in including usb ports. Everyone we encountered from management to housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful.

My family and I over all enjoyed our stay from the bed being comfortable and the wonderful breakfast, and people were overall friendly. I would book again and the prices were reasonable

They only thing I can think of is the water in the shower. The solution that is used to keep the water clean burned my skin a little, and my baby had an allergic reaction to it, but nothing too bad . Overall, it is a wonderful place

The room was the perfect size for my husband and I plus two small dogs. As for the bed it was very comfortable and it was exceptionally clean. The staff was very nice. I want to give a personal thanks to Tony. Which helped us out tremendously, got our room ready about an hour early when in fact he did not have to do that.

The breakfast could use a little more variety, although it could be because there was probably less than 10 people staying there. The hotel was great. Now for booking.com not to happy with them.. Charged us one price then once to hotel it was another. Even after I said what accommodations we needed for the dogs.

I like the location and the value.

The morning we were leaving, I pulled the top cover down on the bed and there were several brown stains on the sheets. If I had seen that the night before, I would have requested a sheet change. It was a stain but should have never been used on the bed again. Also we noticed the morning we left that the toilet was leaking.

Great location to a lot of eating places.. front desk lady was awesome and the rooms were clean

Wish you could check in before 3 pm especially when you travel a long way…

We booked here because Galveston was too expensive. Not a bad drive to Our activities in Galveston and Kemah. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a little hard. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I was happy they actually came in daily to make up the room. Several hotels I’ve stayed at lately have postponed this service. Pool area was clean and pleasant.

The pool is next to the roadway so it’s a little loud out there. Breakfast was limited was still had several options available. Bed was a little hard and uncomfortable but lots of pillows.

The manager was really nice, and the rooms were very clean.

I had a 5 day stay for spring break, and the only thing I didn't like was the room service they skipped us for two days and we piled up a lot of trash.

This is a nice property. Seems like it had recently been renovated. Nice breakfast facility and a nice pool. Most of the staff were nice.

Limited choices at breakfast. Air conditioner in room did not work well. Needs a way to circulate air in the 2nd floor seating area.

Excellent location to get to the Galveston Cruise Port. Great breakfast.

The air conditioner could have been a little cooler. The room seemed a tad bit humid when you first walked in. Staff was very friendly. We will be returning .

Breakfast was cold unless you fished to the bottom of pan to get the warm things, eggs had a taste that made me spit them out even after I added salt/pepper. Coffee pot was having working issues.

Better eggs, maybe scrambled & working coffee maker.
