Hyatt Place Dallas/The Colony

I loved facing TopGolf, it was a beautiful sight. And the bed was extremely comfy, I snored and slept with my mouth open. 10/10. It’s not often my sleep outside of my home is that comfortable.

Upon checking in, I was speaking to one employee and the other chimed in over her. And for multiple reasons I lock my credit card, instead of just asking me while I was in front of them she whispered to the other employee asking “what should I do if it declines”. I said well I can unlock it, I didn’t know you were going to charge it right now. (???? Like maybe say that before you do it). Anyways, it was weird just standing there Not knowing anything that was happening, and then just being handed a card for access. Communication is key. Please do not make it weird. Also, I found 2 bugs and 1 dirty sheet. I removed the bugs, and just took the sheet off.

staff attentiveness. Check in says 3 however when I Arrived a little after 3 was told room was not ready and I had to wait 20 minutes. Meanwhile staff change occurred and the gentleman did not pass in any information so we sat longer. Finally asked for help and she was able to assist,but the room description was not what I booked.. ex. separate bathroom from shower, which was available because I also referred friends and they checked in last minute the same day and had the nicer room….

The location was great. Needs were very comfortable.

They said breakfast ended at 930am. But they closed the doors and started putting everything away at 915. We made it just in time but a woman and her 2 boys didn't.

The rooms are large with an extra pull out couch, location, service.

Some things need fixing or cleaning (elevator area walls, shower faucet). The breakfast needs more variety, we ate the same breakfast for 4 days.

Awesome facility right where I needed to be. Extremely reasonable price for how nice the property is. Great beds. Actually have a real breakfast. Breakfast is the meal where Well, it's the optimistic meal, John. The day's ahead of you. Let's have a breakfast.

Nothing

At breakfast I got there at around 8:15 and much of the hot food was depleted so I had to look for alternative choices. They didn’t replenish the breakfast bar until about 8:40 and by that time I was already finished with breakfast.

Very convenient for me and walking distance to my credit union!!

No laundry facilities!! Change the breakfast items and add more than one meat!!

Breakfast was great, staff was amazing, room very clean beds were so comfortable. We were on 4th floor great view and very spacious.

Ac in hallways did not work.

Room was very nice and quiet and clean. No interruptions. Neighbors were loud but it wasn't too disturbing. Air conditioning got really cold once you figure out the right settings. Staff was very friendly.

Requested tub and was told the request would be honored but wasn't. Breakfast was bagged due to COVID but not the worst, would have preferred hot breakfast. WIFI was hit or miss. Was told there was microwaves in the rooms but there was only a fridge.

The facility was amazing and went above and beyond are expectation. Would defiantly recommend it and will be staying again in the future.
