Homewood Suites by Hilton Waco

The muffins were good. The selection was good as well. The spa was wonderful. The walking/running trails were wonderful. Great place to stay fit while traveling. The rooms had a good amount of space and everything you would need. It does not have a stove, but has a microwave. Location was excellent. Great mall - few minutes away (across the street). Good location to the silos. Just a great and safe place to stay. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

The trash bins in the room were too small.

In general Homewood Suites is our preferred choice when we travel. We choose them due to the consistency of our experience when we stay. Comfortable rooms and amenities that fit our family's needs.

It's hard to pinpoint something we didn't like. Maybe scrambled eggs versus the pre-made omelette. Prefer breakfast meats like link or patty sausage or bacon versus a kielbasa sausage, but I also understand the cost difference and the efficiency of current practice.

The only thing I could commit on as a negative is this is a pet friendly hotel. We have pets (dogs) but my wife is allergic to cats. Although there were no issues on this trip, in the past we have had to move (from other hotels) due to cats having been in the rooms. Maybe you could designate a few rooms as "No Pets" for people who may have allergies. Otherwise we had a great stay and will use this hotel again.

Convenient location. Staff was amazing! Room had everything you need. Breakfast was great. Would stay again and again and again!

It would be great if they had car charging stations on-site. A hotel across the road had them BUT you had to stay in their hotel to be able to use them. You can drive to Collin Bakery about 7 miles up the highway to charge for a fee. The bathroom sink faucet had no hot water in the room we stayed in (217).

The lady in charge of breakfast brought out food to keep it hot and fresh. She constantly cleaned things up. The food area looked appealing.

There was a door between our room and the next in which we could hear their tv noise whenever it was on. We could also hear their talking.

Loved the breakfast ! Also I left a brand new shirt in the closet (with the tags still on it!)and after we checked out they called me and had it waiting at the front desk for me to come pick it up! Such kind front desk attendant and great facility!

it was quiet and restful

the staff tried to barge in as I was naked just getting out of the tub. They did knock but did not wait to enter for answer. it’s a good thing that I had my safe lock on. but still it was very scary and embarrassing. I wasn’t sure who was trying to barge in!

Breakfast was good variety and easy to get to. The Homewood employee at breakfast was so nice and helpful. the hours were good and there was enough places to sit. The waffle is always the most popular but I was able to get one both mornings.

I loved the livingroom area and that my son could be in the other room and we close the door and watch tv in the other room.

I didn't like the shower head didn't adjust with our height. And the remotes to the tvs didn't really work. And the lamps had no bulbs in them. Also there was a hole in the closet which made us really paranoid to get dressed in the room because we thought someone was peeping.

Felicia at the front desk was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The suite with 2 bedrooms was absolutely lovely.

elevator on our side of the hotel was out and made for a long walk for our mom who is 90.
