Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Waller

I visited my daughter at the local HBCU, which is only 8 miles from the hotel. It's a relatively new hotel, great location, clean, near a convenience store and gas station. I will most definitely be using this location in the near future!

I arrived at the hotel late Tuesday evening. The following morning housekeeping was near my room, talking on the phone (using the speaker feature) very loud. I opened my door to inform her I was still sleeping, and her response was, "right now…right now you're still sleeping". I stated yes, I'm still sleeping. She said for a third time, "you mean right now." I closed the door and went back inside to avoid getting upset. Shortly after, she walked directly in front of my room door, still on the phone and speaking incredibly loud. I called the front desk to inform them I didn't want room service that day because I didn't want HER in my room!

Breakfast was simple but efficient especially those that bare staying there for business or work. I love that the staff was friendly and very welcoming. Rooms were large and clean.

Location wise is slightly confusing. Because this is a new location, maps does not know that the location does have a way to enter. So be careful with that. Other than that, it was great!

I loved the front desk staff. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. They were the best part of my experience there.

The room was clean, facility was clean. The only thing that I did not like was the location. There’s not many options to choose from as far as nearby stores and restaurants.

This property exceeded our expectations! Our room was clean with no smells and very comfortable. The workout facilities were clean with modern exercise treadmills, cycles,… We were impressed with our breakfast options that included a hot meal with cereal, toast/bagel/ fresh fruit, and yogurt; and it tasted good. Highly recommend this location. The staff was helpful, friendly, and quick to respond.

Great job! Not much to dislike here. Only complaint is the tv on one treadmill kept turning off while we were walking.

Limited food options, other guests were noisy and would run around the halls at night laughing/shouting.

It was very clean. The receptionists was very friendly and got me checked in really quick.

The breakfast looked like it was played over by guests. There was wasted plates with food that guests played over. The juice machine only had a few selections. The variety of food was limited.

The morning desk person was very helpful and welcoming. The location was convenient. The room was comfortable and the price was suitable.

The bathroom in my room was thoroughly cleaned....someone's hair was on the floor and in the bathtub. The plug outlets by the nightstand did not work properly. The hotel was out of towels before 8:00pm. The breakfast was not what we were told it would be.

breakfast selection could be better according to my friends but I enjoyed it.

My room was clean and it didn't smell stale or moldy. The staff was friendly. The price was great.

The only thing I noticed was dirt and stains on the floor in the elevator the day I checked in and the next day when I checked out-same elevator.
