Rodeway Inn Hurricane - Zion National Park Area

I chose Rodeway Inn Hurricane for its proximity to Zion National Park. I originally planned to camp at Zion NP but with daytime temperatures above 100 degrees I decided to find a reasonable priced motel nearby and just visit Zion during the day. The room was large, the AC and Wi-Fi worked well, and the facilities were quite good for the price. The rate included breakfast (toast, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice), okay but a bit tiresome after three mornings. One rule I liked was "No Backing In" (your vehicle). If you have experienced the loud pick-up truck backed in with the exhaust pipe a couple feet from your door you understand how helpful this rule was. The location was great. There were many restaurants within walking distance plus a grocery store about 3/4 a mile away. Overall, a good choice.

There were a couple of items that made the stay less than perfect. Two doors down from my room must have been a permanent room for maybe maintenance workers. They would pull their car up, open the hatchback and play quite loud music and sit outside their room. The music was annoying when inside my room. Second, I noticed my feet were dirty from just walking around barefoot on the carpet. Not slightly but very noticeable. I am sure a good carpet cleaning would rectify the issue.

Room was clean and big, it was quiet in the evening. We had a problem with a toilet (broken) and the lady at the reception was super helpful, we solved the problem within a few minutes.

i guess if I had to pick one thing the pool was a little eh and there were the occasional cockroaches near the dumpster and in the parking lot. but that paled in comparison to the positives.

The rooms were cleen and big enought. Pool was a big plus also breakfast for that price it was one of the best accomodations we have. For breakfast there was cereals, waffels, fruits, toast, muffins. Employees were always heplfull we even stay here for one more night as planned. Najlepši ujo ind.

I've stayed at this motel before and will do so again. The location is convenient to Zion and other local attractions, and the price is a fraction of the cost for motels in Springdale or St. George, Utah. The beds are comfortable, the rooms have microwaves, coffee makers, and small fridges; and even during this pandemic, they're providing continental breakfast items enclosed in paper sacks for guests. The grounds, pool and jacuzzi are well-kept; and the staff always accommodates my request for a first-floor room. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable, convenient and peaceful motel at a good price in Southern Utah.

There wasn't anything I didn't like; but I wouldn't be mad at even lower room rates!

I liked the lighting in the bathroom. Also there was a good amount of pillows. I liked how their bedspread didn't slip. I also liked how the a/c heater unit was off to the corner. They had a good breakfast that included waffles.

The TV cuts in and out occasionally. But that might have been caused by the rainy weather.

The room was fairly large and the bed was very comfortable. It had all the amenities and everything worked fine. The price was very reasonable. I hope they start offering a buffet breakfast again instead of a grab sack (Covid-19)

The desk clerk had almost no people skills. He was having difficulties with his computer for several minutes but never said a word. I asked him about local restaurants and he told me to just Google them. I never felt appreciated as a customer. As for the room, the noise from the people walking above me was a little annoying.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rodeway Inn. The owners were super kind, we arrived at the hotel early after a long walk and they were so nice to let us check in early. The room was clean an spacious, it also came with a fridge and a microwave. Plus! They have waffles machines you can use for the complementary breakfast. Would really recommend:)

We had small guest (mouse) during the night in our room. She rummaged in the bag of snack. But I helped it to move out through the doors at 2am. Maybe it is not unusual in US but this kind of sweet snack cannot be defined as breakfast in Europe.

Pool should be kept clean twice a day not once. A lot of people in the pool the night prior. Went swimming with my son on Sunday morning. Only to find out that the pool was not cleaned from the day before. Other than that, stay was pleasant
