Location is great--right near the historic downtown area. There's a market there on the weekends! Breakfast was decent and there is an outdoor patio to eat in.

Decor is very minimal--felt a bit impersonal, though it was super clean. We were able to hear noise from upstairs room. Wifi is a bit temperamental in the lobby--so if you want to use wifi there, you have to sit in certain places.

Tru staff is always nice! They always make you feel welcome, thank you guys for that!! Good room, everything you might need is in the room! Free parking, free wifi, good location on 25th street, close to the mountains, antelope Island, Salt Lake and all the nice places in between which that part of Utah has to offer!

2 hotels sharing 1 breakfast... it got really crowded, there were waiting lines and empty dishes... I love the Tru breakfast with their pancake machines, but you had to wait too long to get some... "Mountain view" is rather a building view since unfortunately there's a big office building between the hotel and the mountains

The property is very clean, bright and welcoming. The pool is salt water which feels refreshing. The complimentary amenities smell amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is great. Within walking distance to lots of neat little shops and restaurants, and not too far for driving to necessities.

No bathtub, and when you have kids, a bathtub is a must... but it didn't lessen the overall enjoyment of this hotel. The breakfast was lacking a little bit, but I feel they did the best they could with the COVID situation to keep things running as regularly as possible.

for a hotel breakfast it had more variety than usual. The eggs still had the low grade cheese, but the pancake machine was cool and the fruit fresh. We didn't have a breakfast sandwich but they looked good. The bus stop to Snow Basin was right behind the back door, and the train station was only one block. It was also only one-two blocks to the historic district, which has fun local art spots, and to the new fangled commerce town with the movie theater. The hot tub and pool looked clean and everything was well kept, also a nice work out room.

one stink bug on our wall, but he stayed mainly away from us. we were on the top floor, the fourth and I am surprised he was there.

Clean, comfortable, loved soap dispensers , bright bathroom lighting, eco efficiencies. The room was basic, modern. The facility was creatively and colorfully decorated.

The guy working the counter was on the phone trying to reach me while I was standing in front of him which was amusing when we all realized what was going on. Super personable and fun guy though. We were very happy with our stay here. The room seemed a little on the small side but it was definitely enough room. So maybe it is just because we were getting a bit larger rooms everywhere else we stayed that this seemed smaller? Either way it was super cute and comfy and would definitely stay here again! Oh and I like that they have recycle containers and seem to be lessening the impact of plastic disposables in their rooms.

It was a bit busy and no masks were worn by staff or customers but that could be anywhere.

Very clean room. Loved the clean linoleum floor! Great breakfast but needed more than one person to refill waffle batters and food stations and wipe down tables! Very friendly receptionists!

Bathroom hand wash container was empty. Also no shower BODYwash container! (Had shampoo and hair conditioner con tainers only). Had to use teeny tiny bar soap! NEED shower mat...shower floor very slippery. HAD to hold shower handles the whole time taking a shower so as not to slip!

it was new and had a wonderful lobby area.

there wasn’t a microwave! the hot water available for tea was in a container that made the water taste like coffee. I asked to get water from the kitchen and it only dripped out (didn’t work). The lighting in the room was terrible - SO dark! I couldn’t read or crochet. if these things were fixed I’d stay again.
