Wingate by Wyndham - St. George

I loved that the hotel smells clean and it was clean. Floors clean & clean fresh towels and bedding. Everything was great in the room! Looked very well kept

For me I have a dairy allergy- so just would have liked dairy free milk as an option In the breakfast area. And also would have liked to know if the eggs had dairy. I avoided them because I didn’t know

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The children’s museum downtown was amazing! A definite must see! And only 10 minutes away from this hotel!

There was no toaster! It’s difficult to eat English muffins or bagels without a toaster! I would’ve liked a little more light in the room, felt so dark.

Nice breakfast - waffles, fruit, cereal and cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage etc) served early 6-9 so ideal if you like to go out hiking while it is cooler. A lovely outdoor pool with towels and a hot tub, friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, ideal location.

No kitchen sink

Loved the King Suite! People at front desk were super nice and friendly! Decent breakfast!

Hot tub was cold on second day but was fixed by that evening. Not so good security. Some people brought lots of relatives with kids to pool who were not paying guests. They blocked open gate to plaza with rock and we’re running wild! Not so relaxing!

Came here for the breakfast and cleanliness. Before booking this place I read reviews of other hotels in the area and they all said the same thing, “no breakfast because of covid, even though their website says, breakfast included” or “smelly/dirty carpets”, so this place was a no brainer for me. You get what you paid for here. Very clean room, bathroom and lobby. Amazing breakfast, they served eggs, pancakes, sausages, hash browns, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and orange juice. The workers pack your food in a container and you can take it back to your room or eat outside by the pool. Would definitely stay here again when I come back to Utah.

Very Clean, comfortable bed and pillows, Direct TV, jacuzzi worked well and pool was nice. Great breakfast options.

The plants around the pool weren’t watered well, many were dying. It didn’t appear there was a working sprinkler system. The bathroom didn’t have good lighting.

I liked just about everything at the St. George Wingate location. We stayed there for a total of four nights, and met [I believe] their full staff: Melissa, Devon, Steve, and Roberto. With reference to Melissa, Devon and Roberto, all three of them were very nice, smiley, friendly, caring and professional. But, I must point out that I think Steve definitely deserves some special recognition here. I'm a 77 year old professional in the finance arena, and have travelled extensively around the world. Steve gets (from me) very high praise for just having one of the greatest service personalities I've ever met. Steve was always very friendly, smiling, conversational, caring, very helpful, just so so very warm and welcoming. In my book Steve is super tops and should be acknowledged for his exceptional attitude - just a great guy making us feel so very special!! (Would certainly book there again just to see Steve :))

A chin-up bar in the fitness room would be nice -)

The front desk/housekeeping staff were all very friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, roomy, well stocked - had everything we needed. The breakfast was pretty tasty and free! Easy parking. We had a great stay!

There were balcony rooms right by our only window, so we felt like we needed to keep the curtains drawn so if somebody was using the balcony they wouldn't see right into our room - just one weird set up design, but otherwise our stay was great.

Everything was clean and orderly. Front desk was prompt and helpful.

Eggs ran out at breakfast. A staff member (house keeping?) took the last of the eggs right in front of me. This is no problem, but at least acknowledge you're taking the last of the eggs and assure me that more are coming or -- if not -- at least say "sorry, you're too late so I'm not standing there waiting forever."

Breakfast was eggs, waffles, biscuits & gravy, some days bacon some sausage. Breakfast was good. The rooms were very quiet and the bathroom is sufficiently large. You can also walk to WalMart, but the hotel is well set apart.

I'd prefer a dedicated shower and a first floor room for access for our bicycles.
