The location is particularly excellent - you can walk to the visitor center, eliminating the need to use the Springdale Shuttle- you only use the park shuttle. The hotel is also walking distance to a gear rental place for the Narrows, a pub, a small market, and a Perks coffee, so anything you need. Additionally, I stayed in a 2 queen room, and it was huge - well laid out, with a fully equipped kitchen, which I used to prepare breakfast and my hiking snacks. Everything was immaculately clean, there was adequate free parking.

It was slightly annoying to walk/drive a mile to the better dinner restaurants, but well worth it for the other location benefits. An onsite property serving breakfast would be nice. The hot tub was cold. The price was a bit high, but understandable on Veteran's Day weekend.

Excellent location, next to the park entrance/visitors center along the Virgin River. We were able to get off the shuttle and take a short walk to our room. This also allowed us to attend the Ranger presentations in the evenings without having to drive over. We found this location to be better than staying in Springdale even though you have to walk/drive downtown to most of the restaurants. Well manicured and cared for grounds with beautiful views of Watchman. The front desk staff and others were extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

There could've been an exercise facility and we could never figure out the coffee maker, which was frustrating. The pool lounge chairs were metal (hot) and uncomfortable. Considering the porches all have the polywood chairs, their chaises would be better options for the pool.

We were initially assigned a ground floor suite when we arrived with our Backroads bike group, and it was spacious and convenient. Initially, I was told by several staff that we would not be able to keep the same room (we were staying 3 nights after the Backroads tour ended) and were disappointed. On the morning of the switch, I tried a third time and this time, Alexis and Cathy at the front desk were very helpful and said keeping the same room was not a problem.

Hot water very tepid first day, but got fixed after I spoke to front desk. Twice, the room had not been cleaned when we arrived back around 3:30 after a full day of hiking or biking, but a call got it cleaned quickly.

We had a corner room overlooking the open grass area. Very secluded and quiet. We sat on the porch every night and watched a family of mule deer. They are beautiful and would come right up to you and sniff your hand. We had a one bedroom with kitchen. Very spacious and the bed and pillows are so comfortable. I even went to the lobby and bought a new throw blanket that they have on the bed. The bathroom has heated toilets, awesome. If you need anything, they bring it in a cute little tote bag and the staff makes up your bed everyday and freshens up the room/kitchen. A great touch after hiking all day long. Pool/hot tub is great after a long day. Location is right outside of the Zion national park entrance with rental facility, brew pub/restaurant and a grocery store.

The location is as close to Zion national park as you can get without actually being in the park. The entrance was a 60 seconds walk from my room.

It can be fairly loud on the ground floor and there are so many windows in the unit you really need to make sure everything is buttoned up so no one can see in at night. I was not happy that one of the window locks was broken and the patio exterior door was left unlocked when I arrived. I should have tested it before leaving for the afternoon but I didn’t realize it was unlocked until well after all my stuff had already been in there for a while.

Location was amazing. Very easy walk to Zion entrance. Walk past market place to grab sandwiches, etc. for hikes. Room was well equipped. Had utensils/plates/cups for 4. Would have been helpful to have for 8. Very spacious even when the pull out couch was opened. The blinds in the living room need to be darker. We had to hang a blanket to keep the sun out when trying to put our kids to sleep at 8 and the sun didn't set until close to 9. Pool area was nice; kids loved it.

It would be tough to beat the location right outside of Zion with it's majestic views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from our front porch and balcony were awe inspiring. The property and room were very clean.

The walls are a bit thin and we heard more noise from adjoining rooms than I would have liked, but it wasn't nearly enough to affect our stay, just more of an fyi for those considering staying here. Additionally, again, a minor issue, the water pressure is a bit light in the shower, but they be indicative of the area.

the property is right at the entrance to Zion. no need to look for parking can just walk-in. loved the hot tub and beautiful construction and outside area. has a coffee shop with breakfast on site. also right across has a small market with everything you need. the market is very expensive. has a restaurant with good food right across. bed’s very comfortable, having a full kitchen was great! kids loved it ! even we’re able to get a refund for one of the nights since our flight was delayed. staff went above and beyond. loved that they had a 2 washing and 2 drying machine. it’s $1.50 per wash and $1.50 for drying and $1 for detergent

nothing, everything was amazing!

This place is fabulous. The rooms and balcony are huge, the balcony comes with a table and two nice chairs for relaxing with some wine, tea or star gazing.. Comfy bed and furnishings. Bright rooms with ample lighting. The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher so you can buy food and make your own meals if you want. Otherwise, there are loads of coffee places, restaurants and shops a short walk away. A gas station is one mile away from the lodge. The location is super, situated on the main street and is literally right outside the entrance to Zion National Park. There is also a pedestrian bridge that leads right into Zion so no need to use your car. Just walk right into Zion and over to the shuttle buses. The views from the property are tremendous. Zion's most beautiful features are visible from everywhere on the grounds. The Virgin River flows right behind the property. Many picnic tables and benches are available for viewing the surroundings. A large, beautiful pool and jacuzzi are available to guests. There are ample pool towels available at all times. There is also a guest laundry room on the premises. The lodge is part of a larger community which includes two outdoorsy stores, a small grocery store, a brew pub, a coffee shop and a few other small businesses. There is ample, free parking for hotel guests.

As wonderful as this place is, I need to pick on one thing. We paid for a 'mountain view' room. Our balcony faced what can only be described as a large mound. It was just tall enough to block the view of the more dominant mountains surrounding the property. If we peered around the building on the left side of the balcony we could see some impressive mountains but we couldn't just sit in our chairs and look around and see tall mountains. We felt we didn't get the view we paid for. One minor thing... no recycle bins on the property. In 2022, hotels should always offer recycle bins for recyclable plastic, glass and paper.

Amazing hotel, location cannot be beat! My only reason I rated it 9 instead of 10 is because they are using covid as an excuse not to clean your room but still charging full prices. As a mom, making breakfast and lunch to go it would have been appreciated to have someone help clean up the kitchen. Our family stayed for five nights and ate popcorn the first! Big mistake not having access to a vacuum or broom the whole time.
