Sonesta Select Arlington Rosslyn

The staff were helpful, courteous, and if I may say- almost protective of us. I had the feeling that they were watching out for us as much as they were attending to us. We had a pleasant, comfortable stay and it was a very convenient location to Arlington Cemetery, as we were in town for a relative's inurnment at Arlington. The beds are most excellent! Very comfortable!

There was nothing that I didn't like. That said, finding food was a bit inconvenient as I had my senior citizen mother with me and walking too many blocks was not an option. Neither was driving around to get food, as parking was non-existent. Perhaps a lobby cafe that was open longer through the day? Or leaving laminated take-out/delivery menus in the rooms near the telephones? (I did eventually settle on online ordering from Buuz Thai and they delivered a delicious meal.) The beds are very high and we jokingly said we had to do the "Fosbury Flop" to get into it. Perhaps a small step for shorter people to get into the bed?

Comfort, clean room, location, value for money. It was my 3rd stays in short period of time and I will definitely return Sonesta again. B'fast not included but free coffee available every morning.

Room price changes daily. In peak season the prices are almost doubled. it makes difficult to plan long stays. Complimentary water at arrival could be great. Internet stability could be improved. Since house keeping is offered only every 4th night, it would be nice to have trash collection ideas.

Had driven to D.C. area from out of town planning to visit Arlington National Cemetery. Hotel was located within a moderately brisk walking distance from the Cemetery. A Bonus was the Hotel management's permission to leave my car in the underground parking after I checked out. I was able to walk to and from Arlington as a result.

Neither the TV nor the Internet worked in the room, requiring multiple calls and efforts to start both. I would have gone without TV had the Internet worked and vice versa. However, neither worked and it required me calling an 800 number to connect to the Internet. Both of these inconveniences marred an otherwise comfortable stay.

They only service rooms every 3 days and that’s only upon request. Which is pretty inconvenient since they keep limited supplies in the room - 3 towels & washcloths, a roll and half of toilet tissue, 2 small trash cans for a family of 4 isn’t meeting our needs. They did provide extras when asked, but would be better to have more stocked in the rooms.

Check in was great. However, They did not take cash. Room and bed were awesome.

No breakfast even on the web site it stated it was available. To many extra changes like twenty-eight dollars a night for parking, one hundred dollars for room damages if any. Repaid after about a week once room inspected. When asked why no breakfast was available, I was told because of COVID a lot of hotels stopped serving breakfast. When I informed the clerk that where I came from hotels served breakfast or at least let you know they did not. He then informed me well you had other choices. You can bet I will make a different one next time.

Room was really nice ! comfortable and welcoming..wifi was great . room was clean staff was very funny and nice and welcoming aswell , night of & Morning after <3

I disliked that they do not have a pool , Or a hot tub , not even free breakfast for all that $ we paying . But the room was worth the money it just needs more amenedites in the hotel , such like a ice machine .. free breakfast a pool anything

Spacious room. Liked having shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in the shower. Room was very clean. Glad the hotel had a washer and dryer, that was nice.

The ice machine on our floor was not working / out of service. The fitness center was extremely warm; needed to be a bit cooler in there. These are minor, overall the hotel was very nice.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

They didn’t clean the room during our whole stay and when I asked the maid for 3 towels to replenish ours, she only wanted to give me 2. We had 5 people staying in our room.

No cleaning service at ALL…still playing the COVID-19 card to the hilt. No new towels, had to ask for additional towels, trash and recycling bags, and toilet paper. No continental breakfast, tiny verse bowl $5.50, after first day in room coffee…medium coffee $3.50. i’v stayed at a lot nicer for a lot less money…

very close to metro going into DC. Price for parking was much more affordable than other hotels. These were the top 2 reasons we booked. Bedding was VERY nice and clean and comfortable.

had to ask for towels because they didn't come into the room as before COVID - Totally understand but didn't think of towels till we needed them which was annoying. Silly but at 4 days in the room our trash was overfull and that was again the new norm after covid.
