ARC HOTEL Washington DC, Georgetown

Hotel located nearby Foggy bottom metro station. Nearby you can rent a bike and enjoy the city. Restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. Room was clean and nice. If you like to have coffee in the room, you can have it... illy caffe is provided.

We arrived about 2 hours before the regular check in and we had to wait for our room. Therefore we decided to have a coffee and I asked to pay for them on the room bill but... The reply was "you do not have a room and you have to settle the coffee now..." Maybe they could have offered the 2 coffee???? like goodwill... but ok..... Only one woman at the reception was really friendly showing a little interest about customers. We stayed 3 days and room was never cleaned. I asked the reason why and at the checkout we were told that due to corona cleaning is not provided on a daily basis.

Its location is perfect. It is in a quite neighborhood and just in the middle of the popular location, Georgetown and Capital. Also to the river and island where you can walk or run. Everything is in walk distance. Also I liked the design. There is a small store in the hotel so you can buy juice or sandwiches etc.

It is sad to see many homeless people :( Please do not misunderstand. I got out at night by walk and I do not feel in danger. It is simply so sad to see so many homeless around you while you try to enjoy your holiday.

The amazing room, not sharing the number because it's my special room, lol. The amazing views. The very attentive staff, they were on point 100%. I'm telling all my friends and family. I stayed for a week, the price was excellent. Michelle at the front desk, simply amazing, she took care of me, I acknowledged the beauty of the room and we did a fist bump......

This is a suggestion, not a dislike. Each floor should have a microwave station with at least 4 or 5 microwaves per floor. 130 rooms and only one microwave in the lobby.........

My room was spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were modern and perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they did their best to make my stay comfortable. I would like to thank the employee Michelle and Sibel who helped me a lot with check-in and check-out, both were very helpful and cooperative, and they made it easy for me to deal with everything. This hotel is really well designed and has a bit of a luxurious feel despite its affordability. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The lady at the checkin desk was very informative and gave us some helpful tips. The location in Georgetown is great for those who want to set off on foot to get great food and drinks in the evening. It was also an easy walk down to the Lincoln Memorial to begin a tour of D.C.'s most famous sights.

More onsite parking would be a perk, but as we were visiting on the weekend we were able to enjoy free street parking and got lucky enough to nab a spot out front.

We loved the location in the quiet university area, close to the metro station and within walking distance to all major attractions of the city. We were warmly welcome and given a room 2 hours before the regular check - in time what was great considering how tired we were after journey. The rooms were spacious and nice. We loved comfortable bed.

No breakfast except for bar in the lobby. It is not a big problem considering there are many bars and restaurant serving breakfasts in neighborhood.

Wonderful 2 day stay. Beautiful, clean room with very comfortable beds. Great location, were able to walk to the monument in 15 minutes. Beautiful green, lush area, very quiet and charming with great restaurants, cvs and whole foods nearby. This hotel is like a hidden gem tucked away and unassuming but offers all you need including a lounge to work in, a filtered water bar and a small gym. Also loved the Malin + Goetz products in the bathroom, great touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Michelle who checked us in was lovely, efficient and offered some great tips about the area.thank you

AC was super strong, which for most people would be a good thing but for us we had to turn it off when going to sleep because it was blasting even on the lowest setting. No screens on the windows meant we couldn't leave them open since we didn't want mosquitoes coming in. We still had an absolutely wonderful stay and would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located between Georgetown and the White House, both locations are within walking distance. The metro is close (3 mins) so you can get wherever you like easily. There are grocery stores, Starbucks, and restaurants nearby. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but the inside store is well-equipped so you can have coffee, sandwiches, and snacks at good prices whenever you like. Our room was clean and big enough for 3 people, bathroom had all the needed amenities. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, and we were warmly welcomed by Michelle who was our fav host.

The wi-fi was slow, but only in our room which was located farther at the end of the hall. The lobby wi-fi was fast enough though.

Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Location is minutes away from main attractions and restaurants. The room was spatious, clean and modern. Me and my family enjoyed it a lot even though we just stayed for a night.

Parking in DC is a nightmare, so finding a spot for a car is quite difficult. The hotel DOES NOT include parking and charges $55 A NIGHT to park your car. We did not like this at all. Some food and beverages to grab in the lobby are quite expensive, we recomend waking a couple feet away and buy stuff at the 7 eleven.

The location is quite central and good. Close to Metro. Wifi is great in hotel. Staff is super helpful. The cookies baked by Miss Sharmein at front desk are a not to miss delight. 24/7 7/11 is just a min walk away. Rooms are also big enough. Cost beds and clean bathrooms.

Hotel could add more options for take away breakfast or offer a buffet breakfast. It’s a no cash hotel so travellers may be advised at the time of booking to carry credit/debit cards for booking.
