Holiday Inn Roanoke Airport - Conference CTR, an IHG Hotel

This property has been recently renovated with stunning industrial, farmhouse design. The main area is breathtaking with soaring vaulted ceilings adorned with steel girders and wood accents. New carpets, paint, furnishings throughout. Truly a visual masterpiece. The bed was oh so soft, making it hard to get up and out in the mornings. Staff were friendly.

Good breakfast. The Restaurant manager, Barry, always made our mornings cheerful and great service. Excellent mattress and pillows.

Noisy trucks in the parking lot starting their engines loudly early every morning. Bed had a broken corner bracket hurting my wife’s foot. Reported. Wire in hallway and water in main floor hallway.

I liked that the hotel was so clean. The room I had was very spacious. I could tell that they were keeping up with sanitation during this pandemic, so I appreciated being able to feel safe while I was travelling.

I thought $50 for a pet that didn't bark or make any noise was a lot of money. I was grateful that the hotel allowed pets, but my 6 month old made more noise and more of a mess than my dog. I understand that you have to have money for normal wear and tear that pets bring, but $50 was a steep price. I also think that the pet fee should be upfront. I didn't know it was that much until I stopped by the front desk.

The property is conveniently located within a short distance form the major highways. I found the location clean, and parking was convenient. My room was beautifully appointed with useful toiletries and a working hair dryer. The shower was also user friendly and safe.

I reserved a room which included the option of breakfast. I did not receive breakfast. This was not a big deal, but it would have been helpful to inform the guests ahead of time when the booking is made instead of charging for the breakfast and not supplying it.

service are not courteous, staff attitude and behavior is very poor.

Front desk manager very responsive; but main cashiers staff are very poor actitudes, not service oriented, no nice at all; in fact very unresponsive and non interested on customer service. Poor orientation on facilities amenities or complementary services.

There were no coat hangers in our room. I ask the lady at the front desk and she immediately got hangers for us. It didn’t take her two minutes. We really appreciate her prompt response.

There was no hair dryer in the room.

The beds were extremely comfortable, room was large, and the whole facility was sparkling clean and very nicely designed. We arrived late at night and my daughter wanted a chance to swim in the pool the next day, the hotel staff let us do late check out and were extremely accommodating.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. A big shoutout to Glenford, Anna and Barry. I would stay here again. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. Love the blackened salmon, rice pilaf, cheesecake, eggs, home fries, and coffee. Thanks so much!

They were out of waffles and pancakes, so that was disappointing, but what I got was still good.

The pool was inside, which was fine, but the inside room was very warm, but the water was somewhat cold.

Did not eat breakfast there.

Thought breakfast should have been encluded. Commode in bathroom was too low.
