Staying at the Microtel worked out well when we were in the area visiting family. We really didn't spend any time during the day at the hotel just slept there. But I'm a big fan of efficient design so I appreciated lots of convenient touches throughout the room that made our stay more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was restocked throughout the morning and had lots of tasty options. The staff was nice and the location was convenient.

Some minor things could have been improved. The pool was pretty small and the water looked a little murky. The restroom next to the pool did not have toilet paper for 3 days. The elevator would make a loud ding every time it arrived on the floor. I was grateful my room was far away so that would not disturb me.

It was a good location for us while traveling. It was a birthday weekend getaway!

There was this older lady that was hanging out in the lobby every evening/night the two days we were staying there. She was a lady that walked with a walker and was spread across bench right at desk in the entryway. She was very sloppy looking and involved herself in conversations when we were talking to receptionist at the desk. It was not a welcoming sight to leave and see her each night while we were staying at hotel and I wasn't happy to see her sitting there right at entrance each day. We travel a lot and that was a first. We really enjoyed the comfort of the hotel but will not be staying at that particular location again.

Very clean, all staff was super nice. The room was small but well-appointed.

The family in the room beside us yelled and screamed the entire time they were there (2nd and 3rd nights of our stay), kids and adults. As we had rooms that could be adjoining, it sounded like they were in the room with us. We notified the front desk; they offered a room change if they didn’t quiet down after they called them….they definitely didn’t get quieter, but I didn’t have the energy to pack my family up to move. (Really, the noisemakers should have had to move!)

The breakfast was good. There was a good assortment of food, both hot foods and non-heated foods. The coffee was available 24/7. There was ample room for seating at the tables. The staff kept everything replenished, except for the last morning, when they ran out of cups for both the coffee and juice halfway through the breakfast serving hours. The staff was friendly and helpful.

While this is minor, we were annoyed by the noise from the bathroom fan. It was pretty loud, and you couldn't have the light on in the bathroom without the fan running. When we returned to our room at the end of the day on our second day, the trash had been emptied and towels, washcloths, and hand towels replenished (forgot to leave a bathmat) but the bed was unmade. It wasn't a big deal, but it was strange that everything else was done. Management said something about different levels of service, depending on how long you are staying, but that our bed should have been made. Didn't quite understand that. As I said, that wasn't a big deal.

The location was good and not too busy of an area. The hotel looked inviting as well as the rooms. I worked out in the gym there and it had almost everything needed for a workout. I did not get to try the breakfast but it looked very good.

The only thing I did not like was the fact my neighbors were being VERY loud at 1 in the morning but that is something the hotel cannot fully control. I also noticed some dog hair on the yoga mats when working out but nothing I couldn't just wipe off.

The breakfast was ok. The location was further than I expected ftom from my venue. I had hoped to be near mall and center of city.

The bathroom was noticeably dirty. Reading light would not come on and staff member had to bring bulb for bedside lamp. A ROACH was crawling above reading nook!!! Adam, the Friday night staff was kind and helpful, but the Saturday morning staff member was fairly non-communicative. He didn’t ask how our stay was, nor did he say “thanks” as he gave me receipt. I like Microtel motels; that’s why we chose it, plus, it was NEW. We were also concerned that a lady was outside entrance entire time who appeared to be a vagrant or homeless person. She was also inside getting food at breakfast. A bit if a concern/turn-off for me. It would be helpful to find a more appropriate way to assist her.

I really liked the size of the shower stall, much more convenient than a bath tub. The room was very spacious without all the bulky furniture and had a lot of electrical outlets.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. The cleaning staff didnt do a very good job vacuuming our room as we stepped on dried chunks of mud in our bare feet. Also, they put a extra $100 hold on our debit card and didnt tell us that they were doing it. I had to transfer money from another account after getting a warning from the bank. When I called the front desk to ask about it, the woman changed her story several times about the hold. Told me that she would take the hold off but didn't. Clearly her way of ending the conversation. Also, I had requested a 1st floor room an received an email starting that it wouldn't be a problem. Upon check-in I was given a 2nd floor room.

Staff was amazing. I had a room issue and they quickly mo ed me with smiles on their faces Rooms and hotel very clean and beds comfy. Pancakes for breakfast were great. Pet friendly!

Noise of highway. Major road was noisy. Ask for room awaY from road . The room they moved me into had no thermostat and it was cold. Do not get room 111 as huge generator out back! Moved me across the hall and it was fine

New building so everything was fresh and clean. Easy on/off highway. Bed was comfy and bathroom very clean. Rate was good with Booking.com. Near variety of restaurants.

Check in was easy, but the clerk must've been new because he seemed to fumble through it. Décor was horrible - reminded me of Legos...Could've used a couple more towels. Our room was located near the elevator and so there was some noise from kids in the hallway.

Very clean & comfortable.

First morning, regular coffee wasn’t ready until 6:45 (breakfast started at 6). Second morning, at 7 no cream cheese for bagels & all the containers on the counter ( except bread) had only 1-2 items in them. It looked more like end of the meal vs. the start of it. This is why I didn’t give it a 10.
