Travelodge by Wyndham Winchester

We stayed at this hotel twice while visiting family in the area during the summer of 2023. First stay was 5 nights, and the second trip was 3 nights. Both times the beds were super comfy, the staff is very nice. The first time we stayed the elevators shook and made some really loud sounds going up and down, the second time, those had been fixed. The ac in the rooms works well even during hot days. Love that we can book a smoking room. We didn't bring our pets with us but love that it is pet friendly. The staff is super nice and housekeeping does a great job with cleaning.

We had no issues at all. The price is fair and while being an older motel, it is clean and comfortable.

The staff were great and I'm so glad they accommodated my dog. The "dog section" was very quiet along with the outside where we hung out a lot. I was happy to see they have cameras out there. Room was very clean with comfortable beds and I would recommend a stay here to all. I will be returning! Thank you

The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel seemed stuffy and humid in the hallways and sometimes in my room, but it was 90° outside!

location nice except for Interstate right outside our window. Tractor Trailers gearing down were very noisy. Host very nice to let us check in at 11am.

Needed card key to get in outside door (good), but right next to that door was door to stairs entrance and the latch was broken, so anyone could get in. Inside stairwell doors did not have card key accesses, so people could go from one floor to another freely. There were no luggage carriers at our entrance door, so it was difficult to get our bags to our room.

The room I had was very well appointed. Look like it was newly painted. The continental breakfast was good. I really like the fact that they had some protein available (hard boiled eggs). The bread was just plain white bread, I was hoping for a bagel or an English muffin., But it was adequate. They had an interesting make your own pancake machine that makes one pancake at a time. I hadn’t seen one of those before. I didn’t use it, but saw others doing so.

I can’t say that there was anything that I didn’t like. Maybe, they should put the key entry lock on the building side door to prevent undesirables from entering the building at night.

Large king room, comfortable bed, great value!

Comfortable bed; plenty of breakfast. The breakfast attendant kept the counters clean and the food supplies full. It was very handy to the interstate. Ample parking. Check-in staff was very professional and helpful.

Television controls were not intuitive nor easy. I stayed here twice,and one television control was better than the other. I would have liked a waffle maker in the breakfast area.

This place is a gem. Clean. Friendly and welcoming. We slept so well and ate the best Indian food we've ever had across the street at Taste of India. Just amazing all around! And the price. Holy Cow! Greatest rate of any state we've been in on our 2 week vacation. Can't beat it!

There was nothing I didn't like. Perfect stay and a perfect price

The staff was excellent and plentifull willing to help any way they could. The room had a pleasant fragrance unlike some lower cost hotels we have visited

the breakfast was very limited. There was very few choices. no bagels or baked goods. Nothing hot....may have had hard boiled eggs ...I forget. The only thing we found appetizing was a very small container of yogurt. But for the price It is somewhat understood. I also was never asked about Windham rewards I assume I didn't get ny reward points. The program itself seems confusing.

The front clerk offered assistance and was friendly. The breakfast was perfect and was well prepared and stocked. Nice comfy chair in the room and plenty of towels and toiletries.

I can't think of anything. Maybe the stairway could have been better marked, we like taking stairs. I don't like people smoking right by the front door.

The room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the bathroom (especially the shower) was amazing. Great water pressure and it stayed warm despite the length of my shower/bath. Breakfast was okay, not very many options but I don't typically eat breakfast anyway.

My keycard demagnetized for some reason and I couldn't get into my room for about 10-15 minutes, which was bothersome because I was dealing with body pains. Other than that, I have no complaints. Staff was helpful if a little brusque.
