Holiday Inn Express and Suites Winchester, an IHG Hotel

Staff was very friendly. Room was wonderful and clean. Love the jacuzzi . It was very close to fast food,Gas station. We were in town because our son had surgery at Winchester hospital. It is less than 10 minutes from the hospital. The hot breakfast .. yes real bacon and selections for breakfast was awesome . They even had to go bags if you were in a rush. I’m a diabetic so having not just carb selections was wonderful . I can’t say enough about this hotel and it’s staff. We will stay here again ! Indoor pool was a plus too.

The staff, room, amenities and location were great

The Hot tub was lukewarm at best. When you turn on the blowers the water foamed so much that you couldn't see the steps to enter. out of the five people who entered three of us stumbled into the water, myself included. Upon arrival the front desk had some difficulty finding my reservation because my name was significantly misspelled. THe survey I completed still had the misspelled name.

The breakfast was excellent. Everything that you could possibly want for breakfast…hot and cold selections. Everything delicious and well-prepared. Neatly arranged with signs above each area. The person in charge (I’m so sorry…I’ve forgotten her name) was warm, friendly and attentive. The dining room was attractive and clean and bright.

I have no complaints about anything. Actually…just a suggestion. Try not to book very late arrivals too close to rooms that are occupied. Understandable if the hotel is full. Guests were talking loud, slamming doors in and out while getting settled for the night. Very disturbing to guests who were in bed and trying to sleep. This experience didn’t detract from my overall visit. It’s just something that should be considered if at all possible.

It was nice clean hotel. Staff was extremely friendly, But did notice hotel staff were vaping/e-cig in the hotel. The hotel is set back from the road behind other businesses and it is difficult to navigate parking lot when you first arrive, don’t remember clear signage to guide through surrounding busy establishments. Had a nice outdoor area for sitting. Online pictures were accurately depicted room conditions and quality. Continental Breakfast was delicious. Coffee and tea available throughout the day.

Indoor Pool looked to be dirty. The water seemed clean but the pool itself looked old and in need of a deeper scrubbing. Staff was extremely friendly, But did notice hotel staff were vaping/e-cig in the hotel.

The breakfast food was very good, so kudos for that. Weekend Front Desk Staff were Awesome, they were so funny and pleasant to deal with. They were very accommodating and not only did they smile, they were actually friendly and it wasn't a put on because I was a guest at their Hotel.

I didn't like the fact that there wasn't enough staff over the weekend to help out with breakfast time, so it left tables dirty because of the one person they had had to keep refilling food for the guest. It so crowded, we waited then went back and had to take our food to our rooms. If they would get staff more help that would be awesome. The hot tub was great, I just wish the water was actually hot to actually relax you muscles. The jets in it were great just need the heat now.

breakfast was amazing. staff was very nice and friendly. rooms are very nice and large. beds comfy, very clean rooms. hotel smelled amazing. everything was clean.

i wish the pool was a little warmer.

Maureen, who was working the front desk when we arrived, was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offerings were varied and sufficient, despite COVID restrictions. Missed the pre-COVID style of breakfast, but what was offered was great.

An exit ramp runs adjacent to the hotel and we were on that side so we could hear the semi-trucks braking for the traffic light at the end of the ramp. Had I brought my white noise machine, likely would not have been as bothersome.

Morning Breakfast was fantastic! Was not expecting this at all. Also, good idea to use nozzles on the shampoo and conditioner. First time I’d ever seen that. Makes total sense from an environmental perspective.

A bit on the expensive side. Mainly because we are from Canada and have to pay the exchange rate.

It was an excellent price and conveniently located near I-81 on our travel route.

We tried to have breakfast at 9 am (advertised as 6 am-10 am), but there were no eggs or breakfast meat available in the hot food area. The pre-packaged muffins were fine, but not what we expected.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds & pillows, amazing breakfast, easy check-in & check-out

Walls are thin, not enough towels at pool, body wash was empty, daytime check-out staff didn't really acknowledge my presence nor thank me as they were too preoccupied with other duties
