Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. Georgetown

Everything was great!!! Very awesome employees, the location and cleanness are superb!

There is only thing we didn't like, by the end of complementary breakfast there was not enough food and the doors of the area were closed. We were not able to get our drinks.

The water pressure in the shower was extremely weak. Also, the fact that the thermostat is in one room, but the blower is in a different room meants that I had to leave the bedroom door open in order for the temperature to be consistent in both rooms. The room was often too hot or too cold throughout the evening, and the fan had to force air and make noise far too long whenever it turned on if the door was not open between rooms.

Breakfast was a buffet, quite well and tasty. Design of the hotel is really beautiful and spacious as you see every floor up to the roof from the lobby, good for your Insta :) Location also is just great - embassy streets are just 8 min away by walk (that is why we chose this hotel), White House just 30 min slow walk, nearby streets are very nice and beautiful to walk through, nice bakeries (Tatte) and restaurants nearby. Also, just right across the street there is a street market where you can buy all the necessary groceries.

Rooms were nice but sofa and carpet could have been already changed to new ones.

I love that it looks like you are outside . There were so many options and the food was awesome. The rooms were spacious.

I didn't really care that you pay a resort fee. Although they give you a $25 credit a day per room to use at the Restaurant/snack bar/bar they charge you almost $5 each day tax on the $25 that is not calculated in the original price. But it won't prevent me from booking again because it was a beautiful stay. I just didn't like it was extra at the end of the stay.

Breakfast, room and location were excellent. Staff was all very welcoming and the cadre was so nice! We got upgraded to an Executive Double Queen bedroom for free, and the room was just awesome!

Only one soap was available for a family of 4. 2 could have been provided For the parking garage, it was a challenge to open the door, we had to rty it several times. Shower wasn't that good, no water pressure We were given 25$ credit as voucher but nobody told us we had only the same day of check-in to use it, and when we asked the receptionist if we could use it the following day, she just said no, it's expired. So for me it's not quality customer service. Pool was a bit small There was a residue coffee in the machine when we came, so I assume it wasn't cleaned up!

The breakfast was the 1 highlight of our stay. The food was actual hot breakfast (bacon, sausage, omelette station, muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, etc.). Another highlight was the happy hour 5-7pm (free drinks of all kinds). The room was very spacious. The staff was friendly. Even with a billing mishap (difference in hotel fee vs. booking fee) the staff remained positive and even quickly resolved the issue.

I wish the parking situation was better, but other than that no complaints. $44 parking is the cost after their reduction.

We liked the little market right across the street for, well, just about anything! Do NOT miss Tatte bakery a few blocks away!! Amazing. My 13 yr old daughter and I walked to Metro Foggy Bottom each day to easily take the blue line to museums and monuments. Whole Foods is close to that stop. The Curb app to get taxi to the Kennedy Center was cheap and easy, we also got a cab to Georgetown for some shopping. All that to say location was great. Breakfast was always fabulous. Glad to have stayed here.

Well stocked breakfast and lively happy hour! The complementary cocktail was a nice touch—and very “blue.” :) Beautiful atrium lobby. Friendly and helpful staff, especially bellhop Kevin. The room was clean and comfortable, and the living area was a bonus—wasn’t expecting such a large space.

Since I like to walk, the hotel turned out to be a little farther than I anticipated from major sites (especially with the heat), so I ubered more than I intended to (but still walked at least one way). I never had a chance to check out the pool or gym, unfortunately.

The parking garage is NEVER available and you are not told this before arrival. They tell you it's $55 but what does that matter if it's full 24/7 with 'residents' who live on floors 7-8-9 of the hotel? They advise you upon check-in to use the Ritz-Carlton garage, which, btw, is only $35/nt. If Embassy Suites cared about their guests they would offer a valet service to park your vehicle for you in the RC garage. We'll stay elsewhere next time for the convenience of a parking garage or valet service.

the staff was very hospitable. the doorman saved us $50 on parking by helping us secure on-street parking, rather than using the garage. The pool was very nice, our son enjoyed it, as we hoped. The breakfast there is amazing. Was not expecting made to order omelettes. The rest of the food was also of very good quality and lots of choices. Even the coffee was good, most hotels I've experienced, the coffee is never very good. One of the best hotels for the money, hands down.

the towels provided at the pool are way too small. the hot tub worked, but without jets. I would have liked the $25 voucher to be better explained at the initial check-in.
