Comfortable room, modern feel and thoughtful lighting. Contactless checkin and keypad locks made for a good experience. Location in town is great for walking and exploring the town, close to everything. Only a tiny bit past the main business area, but made it feel removed, quiet and peaceful. Great location, easy access and plenty of parking. Hairdryer, coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. Everything you need for a night, or a week. Comfortable and peaceful space to relax.

No air con. Not a problem in winter, could be an issue in the summer. Heater seems a bit undersized for the room, but I was there in cold weather. It was adequate, but not excellent. In-wall fan unit, difficult to get the temp just-right.

It was close to town, the king size bed was very comfortable, spacious room with microwave & small refrigerator. Grocery store and restaurants nearby.

Would have liked to have had a toaster in our room and some eating utensils and small plates. Carpeting needs an update and or cleaning. Room was dark could use a freshen up with lighter paint. Would have liked to have used the indoor pool / jacuzzi. Upon entering the pool/jacuzzi room,the air temperature was extremely warm making it very uncomfortable.

good location-only 4 short blocks from town. Quiet and clean. Grocery market, movies, places to eat at a very walkable distance. Appreciated so much the self-serve coin operated laundry machines. Had everything we needed. Seems to be the choice hotel for the higher end tour companies as well since we saw their vans in the parking lot.

Room service offered only once every 3 days. Apparently this is the norm now post-pandemic since that is our experience in other hotels.

The new key code room access plan makes for an easy and efficient arrival, especially in the pouring rain. Earth Box is close to everything in Friday Harbor so it is a fantastic location for walking around in town or heading off to explore the island. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna area is a huge bonus for relaxation, yay for the post pandemic lockdown reopening of this feature. It really enhances time spent on the property.

Room was too cold for my taste upon arrival (63 degrees) and the system is extremely slow for making any adjustments. 12 hours later and it was still only 65... oh well, it was pleasant enough for sleeping while snuggled under blankets.

Beautiful place and great location. The staff is very friendly and the room was beautiful. My brother and I really enjoyed our stay.

I wanted to swim at 6:00 am, as I am an early bird and I couldn't because you open the pool at 8:00. Maybe consider opening earlier for people like me. The wifi was not great either, I kept losing the signal and as I traveled from Mexico I really needed the wifi.

The room was very nice, though I'm sorry we didn't opt for our usual desire to stay on the top floor. It was fine until our last two nights, when it seemed like the people upstairs we're having big a party until about 1 am. Because there are just hardwood floors and no real soundproofing, the noise was pretty bad. Other than that, the water pressure in the shower and the nozzle were really great, akin to 4 stars. The heater in the bathroom was also a great touch, it actually warmed the whole bedroom just fine, which was nice because the bedroom neater was way too loud. Carly was really terrific, provided exceptional customer service, and got back to any text (which is the mode of communication there, we sent. Earthbox was really right in town, yet in its own little oasis.

Floor was really cold due to no rugs, though understandable during Covid. Lack of down pillows was also an issue for us, luckily we could borrow a couple from the friends we had on the Island. The bathroom needs a fan as the window is solid in place.

Very nice place. Great communication and checkin to checkout very well orchestrated, friendly instructions and positive presentation of the rules for the property, Room was small and comfortable with everything we needed. Bath was big with jetted tube and nice toiletries. Price was great, we were on a budget and just wanted an eco get away. Location was perfect. The pool & spa were wonderful and spotless. Restaurants within walking distance and free parking.The island is paradise. The beauty is precious. Bonus points for making recycling and available everywhere on the property!

We didnt find anything to not like.

Love the decor colors , finishes, high ceilings, updated rooms with small balcony. The furnishings were classy & beautiful & comfortable. Nice bed & bath linens Bathroom was clean and updated with high end feel. Love the quiet corner room. Especially liked the Lavender pump products. Even went to the Lavendar store in town to buy more! Had to hike up stairs to 2nd floor on outdoor stairs with luggage. No elevator. Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Very close to town. You could walk to everything easily. Not far from Friday Harbor ferry, uphill on Spring Street. Ace Hardware right across street. Loved the gluten free pizza place Van Gogh. Really good. Also loved the popular Rocky Bay Cafe for breakfast. As well, we loved the outdoor restaurant across the street from Friday Harbor called CrabHouse. Great water ferry view.

Limited on site parking on premises when we were there. Parking was all taken over by the Vintage Car Group. Had to park on the street overnight…and walk into the property. I am disabled and was disappointed with that. Hopefully that parking is not a problem. No fan in bathroom. Wish the bathroom window could open to air out.

Bed was comfy, the bathroom had enough towels and provided shampoo & body wash and a hair dryer. We also like it had a coffe maker, microwave & mini fridge. The location was cool, close to many shops and ferry. Also, easy to check in.

The hot tub didn't work, the pool wasn't as warm as I thought it would be. The sauna worked well.

Everything at the motel exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the seating areas where we could relax in the nice garden surroundings. The swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were also a special treat. All were well maintained and so relaxing.
