Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Seattle North - Lynnwood, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was good. Room was clean with exception of room 203 carpet needs cleaning. I could smell carpet when entering room. It was on occasion. Pool area was nice. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to freeways. I enjoyed my stay. I asked a housekeeper and then the front desk staff to clean up a broken bottle in the parking spot next to my vehicle and neither did it. Overall it is likely that I will stay here again because it is central to my Seattle family.

As I said carpet smell indicating a need for deep cleaning of carpet..And no response to request for broken bottle to be cleaned up from parking space.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The mattress of the pull out sofa was a little thin, however, that happens over time. It was slept 2 out of the 3 nights we were there and got decent sleep still.

The snack area was a little spendy. But it is expected when coming unprepared. The hotel isn't a convenience store, so it was nice to have something available until we could get somewhere.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was the deciding factor to stay at this hotel. As a family of 7, I felt we saved a lot of money being able to have a full breakfast at the hotel vs going out to eat. The pool only being 4 feet deep was perfect for my children. The location was perfect and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

The hot tub was no longer there, although it was advertised in the online pictures.

They furnished me with a tub mat that was requested by my daughter/that I needed & it was brand new! Had plenty of toilet paper...the motel on my last trip, had to be asked for twice...there was only a part of a roll in the room! I absolutely LOVED the 3-holder dispenser they have in the shower for the shampoo, conditioner & body soap!!!!! I want one in my apartment!!!!! There were several lamps...so was well lighted. A desktop & comfortable chair so I could easily sit & use my laptop! A nice sized closet...held all the clothes I wanted hung. An iron & ironing board is furnished which I didn't need, but super nice to have available! A hair dryer...will know I don't need to bring mine...NEXT time! ☺ There seemed to be a problem turning off the heater {daughter had turned it on & couldn't turn it off} I didn't want it on, I don't sleep with heat! However, she notified the office anyway, someone came/managed to turn it off, and then they sent a repairman the very next day! And the bed was very comfortable! OH! And my key card worked EVERYTIME with no problems!!! My daughter's key card did not but it turned out to be only needed once. My last stay & that was at another motel......both of our key cards constantly mal-functioned! We found out my room was on the fourth floor & my daughter asked if there was one closer to the bottom floor & they immediately changed my room to the first floor!! I was very impressed!!!!!!!!!!! It came with a second bed {I was staying by myself so it wasn't used} without charging me!!!

They were out of conditioner...but I didn't ask for more...just used my own. I'm sure they would have furnished more IF I'd asked! The shades were a type I'm not used to, someone came immediately & showed me how to use them. I still didn't 'get it' but being on the bottom floor, they were really not needed to be open!

I had a bad experience with a hotel in Everett that didn’t followed the guidelines with Booking.com and nowhere in their website or profile show $300 worth of hidden fees. Holiday Inn Express was the complete opposite. They were very professional and friendly. They made sure I didn’t have a similar experience what I had with that Everett Hotel. They honored the Booking.com prices and helped me when I accidentally booked twice due to the app freezing on me. 5/5 stars and definitely coming back soon when I need to de-stress again.

The female clerk was excellent. There was a problem with the lock on our door and we couldn't get into our room. We were sitting in the hallway with a newborn baby while they tried to get into our room. She was very apologetic for the inconvenience and temporarily put us in another room while they got into our room and fixed the lock. She handled the situation very well!

Your parking garage. I WOULD NOT advertise that you have a parking garage. It was the scariest thing I have ever seen. I would NEVER park my car in anything that looked anywhere near what that looked like.

Great location

There was a used towel. It was dirty and disgusting. The dirty part was turn around so you couldn’t see until you pulled it out. Probably the cleaning person thought it wasn’t used so they didn’t change it out. I think you should change all the towels no matter how it “looks”.

The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with a variety of things to choose from! The location was another plus for our stay. Close to the mall for when we weren’t doing other activities.

We truly appreciate the way that Julian and Monica took care of all of our special requests. They are a magnificent part of your management team. Also the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic.

Good selection at breakfast. Room was very large and quiet, beds had four pillows and was super comfortable Restaurant next to hotel easy walk and decent food Lots of parking

Tv had a delay each time you switch channels and not many options
