Best Lynnwood Inn

The location on Hwy 99 was very convenient for me. Close to fast-food restaurants and a laundromat. Only a few miles from Alderwood Mall and finer dining spots! Street noise never bothered me at all. Adequate and well-lit parking-lot for all guests. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Free b’fast was adequate.

Just a few, small things: This is a utilitarian and useful economy motel…The rooms are decorated very modern and are devoid of all charm but they are clean and linens are excellent. Important for older guests or people with disabilities is the fact that there is NO ELEVATOR to the 2nd floor in the larger building. Therefore, if you have heavy suitcases, it is quite taxing to haul them upstairs! I just spoke to the office and the clerk reassured me that the staff is available to help carry your bags upstairs…A better option might be to request a room in the 1-story wing…. Also, the window of opportunity to enjoy the breakfast is rather short…only 2 hours, I believe…

Very helpful and friendly woman at front desk (proprietor). Helped us multiple times, going out of her way to accommodate our unexpected needs, all with a smile. Breakfast was more than adequate, though nothing fancy. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. WiFi was dependable. TV was very good. Lastly, the rates are very competitive!

Getting into the parking lot is awkward when coming from the north, as we almost collided with a truck coming out of 52nd Avenue onto 99. (Tip: give them the right of way!) The USB outlets on the bedside lamps didn't work, a non-issue as we had our own plugs.

It was recently remodeled and refurbished. The owners turned it around from a hotel that the police visited often to a nice, clean hotel where anyone can be comfortable to stay. I love that!

They don’t currently offer coffee in the rooms, but they do have coffee with breakfast in the lobby and they are looking into coffee in the rooms in the future.

I pretty much liked everything about this place. I stayed 4 days and it was clean, quiet, front desk was helpful. The area was safe. Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was enough. Lots of food options in area including a great mexican restaurant. I stay in hotels a lot and this one is well cared for.

Parking can get a little tight but parking pass allows everyone to have a space.

Convenient location, clean room, good price.

Front desk clerk made me wait at the front desk in the morning while he said he needed to go and check my room before leaving. He made me feel uncomfortable for no reason. They keep a card on file for possible damage to the room so there is no need to treat your customer as if you think they trashed the room. I was alone on business, hardly made a dent in the room. That's besides the point. Not sure if he does this to every guest who stays or if it was selective based on my appearance. This is not hospitality.

This place is fantastic! Incredibly clean, maintained down to every little detail. Bed mattress was brand new! They even had a night light in the bathroom. Very thoughtful. The breakfast was nice, with coffee, yogurt & rolls. There was more, too. It was obvious that the owners truly care about every corner of the motel here.

So much nicer than you might guess from their modest sign. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet and the bed and pillows were good. The complimentary breakfast (ends at 10:00 am) offers coffee, tea, juice, milk, hot cereal packs, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, bagel, English muffin, banana bread, butter and cream. I think that’s it. There is a hair dryer mounted in the bathroom with a small light that’s nice in the middle of the night. There isn’t an ice machine but you just ask and they’re happy to give you a baggie full. There’s a small refrigerator with a freezer in the room so you can make your own. There’s also a small microwave. Our 4 day stay was very comfortable.

The towels are super thin. We probably will take our own next time. And they have a new security system and the alarm on our door kept projecting a red, then blue light through the night.

I booked the place for my friend from Germany. As a public health medical doctor she is quite demanding regarding cleanliness, food preparation, etc. She totally enjoyed her stay and gives it high marks. Excellent value, friendly staff, truly best place in the area!

the rooms are clean and appear to be recently renovated. It has a feel of an apartment room, very homey. Linens are clean and comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise that the window can be opened to get fresh air.

No coffee maker in the room, breakfast is very simple but meets all we need. I am not bothered by any of these though. it’s a motel so don’t expect swimming pool or gym

The host was so friendly and knowledgeable with a great spirit. The halls and carpet were simple and very clean. Our breakfast was quiet and the food was good. The breakfast sandwich was filling. Nice selection of items, but not too many.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property. This is a simple clean hotel.
