I love these 'seedy little motels'. Actual jagged piece of metal to open my door. It was clean. Had a bath, my skin didn't fall off. Very clean tub, tho, for real. Quiet on a Friday night. A half hour east on Hwy 2 is low light pollution for choice skygazing.
Everything around the place closes really early.

The front desk clerk gave us a choice of up or downstairs as there was vacancy upon arrival. We got an upstairs room, but changed to downstairs with ease as my wife had a knee injury. Rooms are very clean. Everything we needed for overnight (mini fridge/freezer, microwave, etc). Beds and pillows clean and comfortable. Heating/AC unit conveniently located (not in the window).
No WiFi (not a huge issue, but helpful when service is intermittent). You can hear the traffic at night (which we blocked out with the fan) and the train goes through but not too late and not the motel’s fault. Just an FYI.

Very comfortable and convenient for the price. I was expecting a cheap mattress but was pleased that it was soft and comfortable.
I did not know that a train came by every few hours and sounded its horn that was a little startling.

I was a bit skeptical since I’ve never spent the night in a motel, but was super impressed on the motel and the location. it was super amazing with its serene location and clean rooms we will stay again many times when going to the trails.

I found Sultan to be the best midway point to Wallace Falls and other great hikes. Hwy 2 can be a monster if you are trying to get to Leavenworth. Consider stopping here and then continuing early on the next day with less traffic and more time to stop at sites.

It is a motel but a really clean one. The inside of the rooms are well done and well maintained. We were more than pleased with our room. It has the amenities it promised.
The walls are too thin and the noise kept traveling between the rooms.
