Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tacoma, an IHG Hotel

Love staying at the holiday Inn express, great rooms , love the breakfast, great beds, anything you need, just ask and they get it for you. The laundry room is great, very clean and nice. It's the only place I like to stay.

What I don't like about the holiday Inn express is that some of them do not allow pets, I have a 7lb dog who is very well trained and goes where I go. She is not a service dog in the sense of some I've seen att the hotels I have visited, just last week when I stayed at one in Tacoma Washington, this couple had a 100 lb. Masfit dog as a service dog. Not fair. All they have to do is charge a pet fee. Most people would pay it. Its has good things and bad things.

We stayed at the hotel for several days. The room was clean and housekeeping provided fresh towels each day. We had a decent breakfast with a good variety including oatmeal, omelettes, sausages, coffee, and more. The selection was actually quite large and the food was fresh and of good quality. The staff at the front desk were also very responsive.

The fire alarm or it was something else (nobody understand this) went off several times in the middle of the night, with intervals of 10 minutes. The sound was very alarming and we were initially scared because we didn't know what was happening. Everyone had to evacuate the building and gather in the lobby multiple times. It was a terrible experience.

Everything.. The cozy.. Relax. I have so much like when I came at night time my he'd is fixed. Thank you so much. I appreciate everything. I will be visiting again and let my friends know.. God Bless..

Nothing... So far so good. Im convenient to and for on my own. I'm sure what to say.. My staying was relaxing.. Good Job house keeping 👍.. God Blessed the staff...

Everything else. Shower stall was great. I have a bad neck and back, bed was so comfortable. Security was unexpected but welcomed. Cinnamon rolls at breakfast are to die for. Shower stall was updated and great!

A little noisy in the hallway at 12pm. Better coffee choices in room. Was concerned about my car. Location was scary because as we pulled off the freeway and not far from hotel was a homeless (tents) camp.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious. Kids loved the indoor pool. Big TV.

Location was a bit on the sketchy side but it's Tacoma so it is what it is. The room next to us was very loud and noisy and had no respect for anyone else sharing the same floor as them, this obviously is not the hotels fault but I will say the walls must be thin. No fans in the bathroom

Bed was very comfortable (firm but soft) and the four pillows were different weights for a perfect self-adjustment. The bathroom must have been recently remodeled since it was pristine and well illuminated. Coffee machine was a pod type and very easy to use (good coffee, too!). Air conditioning was easily adjustable and very important for this hotter than usual day in Oregon. The "continental" breakfast was more than "continental" - even had egg white omelet choice and sugar-free syrup for the pancakes. Cleaning staff were constantly working to keep the dining area stocked and clean.

Main room floor should have the carpet removed and replaced with laminate for better cleanliness. Also, the TV remote did NOT have a GUIDE button and channels were not easily accessed.

Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Coffee was always available at the appropriate hours. I appreciate the security measures they take considering the location of the hotel. It’s about 3 security checkpoints. It’s much appreciated so it ensures the safety of me and the guests at the hotel.

Breakfast was great. Love the pancake machine. The whole place was nice and clean and looked recently renovated.

The parking spaces are waaay too narrow. Could barely park. And the parking lot aisles were too small also.

We were very impressed with the prompt service needed. The staff was amongst the most friendly I've ever experienced. A small thing of convenience was the local Chanel guide for the TV. The small convenience store is really nice. When we mentioned we left Toothbrushes at home, the hotel had them for free along with Toothpaste. I liked that you have to use your key to make the elevator move. It made me feel more safe.

Breakfast needs a little more options, but it's decent.

Nice clean place with nice indoor pool and hot tub.

Not in the best area of town, family that we visited there in Tacoma wouldn't let the kids come to the hotel because of the part of town its in.
