Best Western Lakewood

Had comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean. Big bathroom sink area! Good shower. Hooks for towel in shower area. Iron and board were great. Suitcase stands! Yes! Two of them! Lamp between queen beds with two switches! Plus plug for technology! Tv worked beautifully and was easy to use! Microwave and fridge both worked well! Spacious room. Hangers for clothes. Plug in for hairdryer and mirror close for use. Nightlight in bathroom area for night time visits to the toilet! Do you know how many hotel rooms don’t have this?! Much better equipped than most hotel rooms we stay in! Well done!

Breakfast was good for three mornings as we were there between 6-7 am but on the last day we went later in the morning and there were no more plates, forks, ketchup coffee cream etc.

This hotel was very clean. It was older and had smaller rooms. It had the type of two queen rooms in which there is barely enough room for a person to get out of each bed on the side nearest the wall. Aside from that, however, the mattresses were wonderful, the air conditioning was excellent, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. There was a lovely pool, though we did not use it. We also did not eat breakfast at the hotel and can't assess that.

We stayed in this hotel to visit a friend in Tacoma because all of the hotels in Tacoma were filled. Honestly, it was a half hour drive to Tacoma and this was annoying. This hotel is in an ideal location if you are visiting the nearby military base. In any case, this isn't a specific complaint, just a description of proximity. There was a closed mall next to the hotel. I initially worried that there would be homeless people camping in the area because of this. However, that did not prove to be true. The hotel grounds felt well maintained and safe.

Staff was wonderful! From the person who checked us in, to the staff who brought us more coffee pods- couldn’t ask for more nice, helpful people. The motel was clean, had everything we needed for a long weekend stay, amenities were great, it was quiet even with the motel being completely sold out. I didn’t worry about my car being broken into, which is a huge relief for me. The motel is close enough to everything, but tucked away where it’s peaceful.

The cost was higher than usual (assuming) because Taylor Swift was performing in Seattle and everything was sold out. Otherwise, this place is a banger; especially at the standard cost.

The lady at the front desk was very kind about exchanging our room for a different room once we found out that there were still dirty towels and sheets in our original room. I also liked how the pool was very available for us to use. At night it was warmed for my husband and I and we found it very amusing.

I didn’t like how our room wasn’t ready. We drove for a total of 2 hours altogether to get to the room. Also I forgot my id and that’s not anyones fault but mines. It’s just something that became an inconvenience for my husband and I.

Our room was clean and comfortable, which was very much appreciated after a long day. Front desk got us quickly checked in so we could get to our room and relax. The room had lots of towels and I really liked the soaps and lotion (I felt a little pampered after a trying day). The area and property grounds are nice. Photo was taken as we were leaving, so that is why the beds are unmade.

I was a little disappointed there wasn't any yogurt or hot chocolate at breakfast, but a very minor point. I enjoyed what I did have.

Property was nice. People at front desk were very helpful and nice.

Carpeting outside room was a little dated and we housekeeping didn’t leave us new towels as we had to go to front desk. would’ve liked to have had a unit in the front of the hotel. Elevator would’ve been nice since we all had heavy suitcases.

The staff was super helpful and friendly! Always there to help and answer our questions and really make the stay nice.

The other guests were a little rude, but nothing the hotel itself could change. Might profit from another waffle maker or a larger breakfast meeting room.

Will definitely be staying there again! The employees were the nicest and made us feel welcomed. For any needs they were available and the breakfast was so good! We came for a show and I loved the location. It was clean and quiet especially !

Nothing bad to say. Everything was perfect !

The breakfast options were always good. I loved the fact that I could wash a load of clothes at the hotel. The laundry room was an unexpected bonus! The staff, and Marianne in particular, we’re amazing.

My bed could’ve been softer, the heating unit was quite loud.

Breakfast was excellent, but the time needs to be changed in the room book. Loved the location and right across from the Lakewood Theater that brings back a lot of memories. My mother even went there as a child.

We would have loved to stay longer and explore as I grew up in Lake City and met my wife at The Villa Thriftco. The short stay was my negative.
