My Place Hotel-Vancouver, WA

Good location and easy access to routes out of the city, which meant we were able to get down by the Waterfront and also the trips to Columbia River Gorge and Mount St. Helens. There are a few chain restaurants within walking distance as well as the Vancouver Mall. Large comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good guest laundry facilities.

We had booked this hotel because we thought it had self-catering facilities. Whilst there are hot plates, large refrigerator and a microwave, due to the change in regulations post-Covid, there was no crockery, cutlery nor saucepans, so impossible to do any cooking.

The staff are truly amazing. Very helpful, friendly, and seem to enjoy their jobs. The room was clean, nice, and roomy. There is a laundry room available, which was so helpful as I had to extend my stay. The snack options are great, and they have paper plates and plastic utensils upon request. They really do whatever they can to make you comfortable.

The beds are very hard, but not any worse than any other hotel I've stayed at. I could hear the person in the next room snoring, so the walls are thin, but overall, the facility was pretty quiet.

This is a new property so it was very clean and updated. I liked the full refrigerator, microwave and the coffee maker. The staff was excellent. I had been to other hotels in this area that have staff that behave like you were bothering them and chose to always do the bare minimum. The staff here were attentive and I even saw them do much of the cleaning around the lobby.

An unfortunate side effect of being in Washington state is the frequent use of marijuana. Expect to have plenty of bad whiffs unless you like the smell.

comfortable bed. Quiet large full size frig. Quiet a/c. Nicely placed handicapped bars in bathroom. very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Grassy area for pets. Lots of room for walker to move around in handicapped room. Hanging flower baskets in entry nice touch.

Coffee pot in room but horrible coffee. Coffee in lobby so-so. You had to pay to use plates or silverware and pay for packaged “breakfast” if you wanted (we went out). Only two wheeled luggage racks. Recliner was difficult to work for a disabled person (lean back model).

clean, new, excellent staff, full sink/fridge/stove top/microwave. hope they’re smart enough to keep it clean and updated.

I could not give a perfect rating because management decided to cut corners on the tub/shower. the chrome painted plastic shower head only looks nice. water sprays in all different directions. the shower head is located well above the enclosure and is even spraying on the painted wall. hard to reach and adjust too. there is no real shelf to put things and no safety grab bars. hope the money saved by going cheap made some planning manager look good.

Here for a 3 day soccer tournament and this was a great place to stay. Super clean, folk size refrigerator. Also a stove but used the microwave most of the time. Only issue was that no cooking utensils in the room- you must purchase pans if you want to use the stove. We purchased paper plates, plastic silverware, etc from Safeway. Very roomy, beds very comfortable, will definitely stay here again.

Loved this place, but please note that there are no cooking pans, plates etc. They are available for purchase at the property, but Safeway is close by for another option.

Great staff; helpful and friendly. Onsite laundry with 3 washers & 3 dryers. Good location with easy access. Clean and comfortable. My wife was happy with the Neutrogena soap and shampoo. If you're gonna watch TV, you have over 100 channel choices. Full size fridge, cooktop, coffee maker, and a toaster in the room. Overall very good, and we'll go back again.

There wasn't a good way to regulate the lighting in the room. There's either too much, or not enough. All of the overhead lights (4 total) are controlled from one switch. They are very bright, which is good, but there is no good "in between" level of lighting. There was only one bedside lamp; there needs to be a second one which would solve the problem.

The staff here are very warm and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Pets are allowed with an extra fee. Safeway is within about a mile. Parking lot felt very safe. Mall is just across the street.

Coffeemaker didn't make hot water, just tepid. People tended to smoke right outside the side exit door so you had to pass through that.

I like everything, especially feeling safe! Very clean, good location, comfortable room and bed, and a very helpful and friendly staff. We go once a month for business and usually need an early check in and they have never failed us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vancouver. In fact, we now check everywhere we go to see if there is a My Place. Great company! I would give more stars if possible. Also a good rewards program. BOOK IT!! You won't regret it.

Like it all! Tried to think of something bad but couldn't come up with anything.

Nice pillows, nice room all together, easy check-in and out, good location close to food and drinks. Pet fee is very affordable

They put me on the top floor with a pet so riding the elevator wasn't fun, the sprinklers were on at 8am in the morning so hard to take the pup out for potty he got really wet, maybe change to way early in the am?
