Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Vancouver

This is one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in. I previously always stayed at Holiday Inn as my "go to" hotel. This is my new favorite. Exceptional value. Less than $100/night is an exceptional value for the quality of the rooms and facilities. I will definitely stay at this chain of hotels in the future. I've stayed in a handful of luxury hotels in my life as well, and honestly would likely pick this place over those. The value is unmatched. I stayed in a King suite. Without the separate bedroom. It was very spacious and well laid out. Nice kitchen area with everything you would need to cook and eat basic meals. Large desk with decent rolling chair. The couch was comfortable and had a pull out bed. The TV rotates so that it can be seen from anywhere in the room. Neat design. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right. Heating and cooling is modern and efficient. No more loud unit under the window! Bathroom was large with a nice walk-in shower. There is also an additional vanity area with shelves, drawers, and a large counter area, between the bathroom and bed area. With a closet in the same alcove as the vanity. Very impressed! I did not try the continental breakfast but the spread was impressive looking.

Location is a in a busy area. I tried sleeping with the windows open for fresh air, and unfortunately the road noise was too loud. Not a huge deal at all, just a minor annoyance. I'd still stay at this location again.

The property is beautiful and in a central location, close to the freeway. The rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. We love the layout of the rooms and the spacious bathroom with their walk in showers. Having a stovetop, as well as a refrigerator makes longer stays more convenient. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was great for hotel buffet style accommodations, good variety and seemed fresh and the staff was constantly checking on the food. This was our second stay and we will definitely stay again.

The room was very nice. Very comfortable. Some things make a hotel even better and that would be the housekeeper Katrina from the 3rd floor and the night auditor Cassie R. Very friendly and kind women. The only people that smiled at me or engaged in a conversation.

Every other staff member at the front desk was rude or dismissive. I had to wait 15 minutes at check in because front desk was chatting and laughing with one another. When i was finally addressed it was as if i wasn't they looked at me like i wasn't wealthy enough to stay there. The rooms only flaw was there was dog hair all over the bed. Very unimpressed.

Newer and met our needs.

Some of the kitchen utensils were no thoroughly cleaned. Some food crumbs still stuck to the knives. And we can clearly see the finger stains on the TV.

everything the room was spacious the breakfast was more then expected and the aminities were awesome. this is the first review I have made about anywhere I have stayed. I would live here if I could.

The bed could be more comfortable. coach and chairs could be more comfortable

Room was spacious, setup with the best use of space. Breakfast was great. Loved having a more or less full size fridge.

Breakfast could have been longer on weekends at least until 10am.

The room is spacious. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is amazing. The bathroom is beautiful. The large flat screen swiveling TV is a nice touch.

We were two guests. The tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion were barely enough for one. Breakfast is really sad (possibly due to COVID). The room has a great kitchen, so we would have been better off buying ingredients and preparing our own breakfast.

Everything was pretty great and everything was what I expected. It’s the only hotel Ive stayed at since covid that actually has a real hot breakfast. The pool was open by reservation. Reservation by the hour first come first serve. Absolutely a great place to stay

Staff was amazing and so friendly! It really had all the comforts of home. The location is excellent.

We had record high temps and are at end of covid. The swimming pool therefore was open by appointment only. Inconvenient but understandable.
