The Staff were extremely welcoming, attentive and available to meet ones needs. Somehow my husband put our clothes in someone else's white SUV. We left and did not notice what had happened. The owner of the SUV took the clothes to the office and explained what had happened. The Staff called us because they had recognized the clothes and thought they might be mine due to the style. What a wonderful surprise it was to pick up the clothes as we would not have noticed until we arrived at home, which is 4-5 hours away. What a delightful gift to have them back due to the customer service of Abby Creek's Staff.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and kind. She offered some good tips on where to eat. And she was quick at getting us checked in. In fact, booking reservations through Booking.com was a good idea. The moment we entered the room, we could tell it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a king bed because it was the last room available when we made the reservations. The room was very nice, excellent value. There was a nice pool, a hot tub and a sauna that was available. The grounds are well kept. And the breakfast was very good. We will be staying there again the next time we are in Winthrop.

The girls next door were kind of loud. That is you could hear them through the connecting door. However, it was very quite after 10:00 pm.

This place was truly the highlight of my trip. We were traveling to visit Mt. Rainer, Olympic, and North Cascades. We stayed in 5 different hotels and this one is stand out. It was so great to stay close to North Cascades. All the staff was so friendly, the atmosphere was family friendly and safe. The pool/hot tub/sauna experience was wonderful after lots of miles hiked. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The food felt fresh. The bed was incredible. My friend and I slept like babies. Thank you AbbyCreek for your hospitality! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. There was another family staying that had the sweetest retriever with them that hung out and I loved seeing her walking around there and loving on everyone. We were right outside of the pool which was very nice. The pool was very clean and had plenty of hours of sunlight and of shade on the super hot days. The person in charge of housekeeping was so sweet. He walked around with a smile and was ALWAYS willing to help in any way he could. I would recommend this place, especially for a family in the summer.

The mattresses were not the most comfortable, but I really enjoy a big cushy mattress. But other than that it was great.

Nicely renovated motel on the main street on the edge of town with spacious room and big, comfy bed and soft sheets and duvet. Very clean and had a microwave and fridge and big TV. The bathroom was nicely adequate with good towels. There was a pool and a small sauna in the courtyard that we did not use but others were enjoying it. The motel offered free bikes for a ride into town (a tad over a mile away) and they had games and lots of DVDs in the lobby for your use. After dinner it was nice to lounge in the chairs (next to a small fire pit) in the back on a small grassy bluff overlooking the Methow River hearing the water gurgle and watching the trees sway in the gentle breeze. The staff was generously friendly and helpful and made you feel at home there. The included breakfast was plentiful and tasty although they had no milk for the dry cereal.

Thin walls - fortunately we had no noise issues. Also since the market is next door, one would think that someone on the staff could hop over and get a gallon of milk for all the visitors for breakfast instead of not being able to offer dry cereal.

Attractive site and friendly efficient staff. - Quite a big inn, efficiently run. Lovely big room and comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet, given it was on the main highway on a busy sunny weekend - the a/c probably helped cancel out noise. It was not warm enough for us to use the outside unheated pool - though the hot tub was still heated. Car booking near our room.

Some noise from the unit above us. Could have perhaps done with some updating decorating. Not cheap but in a very popular area.

Very spacious room with microwave and fridge, bathroom includes a bath tub. Good complementary breakfast. Nicely maintained swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Good location to the east of North Cascades and close to Winthrop, so easy to go to hikes both inside North Cascades and around Winthrop.

Nothing really. Overall a very nice place to stay. If you are visiting North Cascades, just be aware that you still need to travel about an hour to the heart of the national park.

It was nice that a hot breakfast was available each day. Unfortunately, as I cannot consume gluten or dairy, I was limited on my breakfast choices. The location was excellent; while outside of the town of Winthrop, it was less than 1/8 of a mile to get onto the Nordic trail system.

It would have been great to have some GF options and fresh fruit. Also, during one day of our stay, the cleaning staff didn't fully shut our door - we did tell the front desk about that. That left us feeling quite vulnerable.

Great room and an affordable price for a last-minute overnight. The front desk staff was very accommodating even though I was checking in late and had my small dog with me - which meant changing the room they’d be putting me up in. My room was clean and the location was also relaxing - considering I booked day-of and didn’t really have any expectations! I’d absolutely stay here again, especially during the summer to take advantage off the pool and fire pit area by the river.

Perhaps stricter enforcement around quiet hours and encouraging folks with pets to be mindful of other guests, i.e. not leaving a dog (who barks) unattended in their room, etc. The folks above me talked/had their TV playing pretty loudly until about 1 AM - and I heard their dog bark throughout the early morning hours. This experience was in no way a reflection of the comfort of my particular room, just something to know for the future.

The staff was pleasant, helpful, and seemed interested in our comfort during our stay. The parking was just outside our room on a perimeter drive, while the interior courtyard was landscaped and filled with activity opportunities. The breakfast was better than we expected and we were pleased with the cleanliness of the serving area and the presentation of the food options.

The floors above were squeeky and noisy during the night. The walls are not sound insulated and we experienced quite a bit of noise from one group which included young children. The bathroom was small and only room enough for one person at a time.
