The Inn at Charles Town / Hollywood Casino

To breakfast was okay. Typically when we stay at a hotel that includes breakfast it always has eggs and sausage or bacon and waffle maker. The only breakfast they were offering was cereal, fruit, toast, bagel and Danish. Everything was fresh but was expecting a hot breakfast.

My wife and I thought the bed was uncomfortable. But maybe other people like a really hard bed.

The staff was very nice and helpful. It felt warm and inviting as you entered. It is close to lots of things to do in the area. The fact that my husband didn't have to go out in the cold to smoke his cigarettes was wonderful. We are seniors. so every convenience is a plus. Will surely stay again.

To be honest even with the work they were doing didn't bother me. No complaints.

I thought our stay was excellent and transportation was great, only because the transport drivers did not make people wait 30 minutes. They were constant in their route between the casino and hotel. Additionally, they we knowledgeable about locations of shopping and eating. There was no breakfast or snacks, while we were there. Understand do to the pandemic we forgive you SMILE. Room was great and staff was okay and friendly, but not fully knowledgeable during the check in. We forgive the ladies because it was not their fault. It appeared we made arrangements through a 3rd party site. That will never happen again. My partner has been to almost every major casino across the country and puts Hollywood in the top 20. Hotel accommodations could not been any better, under the circumstances. Thank you, we will plan work weekends and plan more conferences ans events.

The hotel grounds and building were in great shape and extremely clean. The room was just as clean and pleasant. Had a great time. No noise noted at all. Bathroom was extremely clean and well stocked. Bed comfortable and nice sheets and pillows.

All was great, although the hotel rugs seemed to be the traditional resort style rugs that get dated looking very easily. Only item we noted.

The shuttle service was great and bus drivers were very friendly.

The breakfast could of been better. Compared to other free breakfast hotels this had very few items. I didn't particularly like that they don't clean your room. When I'm away I don't want to have to do house chores.

The luxury, the cleanliness, the comfort! And the quiet! Most hotels, even the high priced ones, have signs of wear and tear, and it makes it look and feel tin down. Charles Town has been there a long time, but it still looks, smells and feels like a brand new hotel. Things happen, damage gets done, but you don't leave it. You fix it.

All hotels, whether there's a casino or not, should have to live up to your standards! What an awesome place!

Just love it in general.

Had to request bathroom items and comp. hot breakfast was not as described. Just cold cereal, coffee, and juice. If your going to charge a $10.00 admittedly fee per guest for a hot breakfast it should be a hot breakfast. It was disappointing and deceiving. Scram eggs, sau, bacon, and a toast would of been nice. Has we know we would of saved us the time and went else where for breakfast.

The location was great and very easy to find. The shuttle to the casino was always there when we needed it and allowed us to have a great time without having to worry about driving. The staff was very friendly!

I was not aware that there was no breakfast being served until I got there, due to staff shortages. Also, there was no room servicing while staying also due to staff shortages. This did not affect us at all though.

The location and the closeness to the casino/racetrack. I liked that they provide a shuttle service to the casino. You don't have to worry about having a few drinks and then have to drive back to the hotel, The hotel was clean, didn't have that moldy smell that some of them do, Very comfortable.

No dislikes.

Bathroom in room was not very clean, plus toilet seat not secure to toilet. Trash was behind cabinet. Not that I was looking, but dropped something and when I picked it up saw lots of trash. Plus paid for track view and got a view of shrubbery
