Super 8 by Wyndham Elkins

the staff was prompt and friendly. The facility's grounds were mowed and trimmed, looked nice. My room was clean. The bed linens were crispy clean, The bathroom was bright, clean and functional. This was the first time I was surprised to see sausage gravy and biscuits on an already well stocked breakfast bar. I enjoyed my stay at the Super 8 in Elkins, WV. The rates were good the room good, and Oh, my, the breakfast was over the top. R Travis

Great location and value. Pleasant staff, clean, nicely sized and functional room.

Didn’t seem very secure - the window has no lock and I was also able to have my key card reset by simply going to the front desk and telling them my room number. They didn’t ask for my name or anything, which should be standard security protocol. Breakfast would have benefitted from some eggs or sausage, but I can’t complain at this price point.

Price, location, staff, cleanliness. The property is well kept with easy access off the road. Parking lot, Hallways and stairs are well lit. My parents were in the handicap accessible room 101 and were very pleased with location and space in the room. My mom was able to navigate the property easily. Water got hot quickly which was great. Rooms were very spacious and bed were very comfortable.

No elevator. I was in room 202 and outside of both window there was a lot of spiders and webs. I am arachnophobic so not pleasant for me, but the curtains covered it great. Everyone else's window's were bug free. The carpet has the same problem I have experienced in many hotels, it feels "sticky". Like the carpet cleaner didn't extract all the cleaning solution.

The location and the price for the night. It was very clean. We stayed there for the night then took the train ride in Elkins. The staff was nice.

The breakfast selections were not very good but what I had was okay. The orange juice was good. They had stuff to make waffles but I didn’t eat any and the had sausage gravy biscuits that wasn’t too bad. Amount other stuff.

The breakfast was very adequate and items were always fresh and well stocked. Hotel is at a nice location. Staff were very friendly, other guests were quiet, and the hallways, dining area, etc. were clean and smelled fresh. Bathroom, sheets, furniture, etc. were clean and in good condition.

The room was fairly clean except there was always a slight musty smell and the carpet was fairly worn. Turning left onto the four-lane highway felt dangerous because traffic coming from the left was fast and hard to see over the hill.

The staff was so sweet to us! The breakfast included was a very nice add on and convenient! However, you did have to get the The breakfast asap as it seems like first come first serve. We got there an hour left of breakfast and a few of the items were picked over. Overall stay though was very nice! Would definitely recommend!!

Location and friendly staff. The hotel staffs restaurant recommendations were a huge help. Scotty's, a family owned restaurant in Elkins had great homestyle meals and a real friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

No continental breakfast as advertised. Something broke down with the reservation thru Booking.com. The hotel did not have any record of our reservation when we arrived even though I had the confirmation. Luckily a room was available and I was given the rate I was quoted by Booking.com.

The location to our event was got us to book a room there. We were on the second floor when we got there but the lady at the desk asked us if we would rather have a 1st floor room. That was very much appreciated.

Breakfast was a little lackluster but it was adequate

I like the location of the hotel, close proximity of restaurants and the value of the room exceeded the price paid. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I come to this area of West Virginia.

Ending time of continental breakfast. After a long day it was a little difficult to get up in time to get continental breakfast. Maybe extend continental breakfast to 11am.

Breakfast was good. We went late, but most of the food was still hot. Staff members were great. They even offered to help with our suite cases. Got to see wild life from our window. A rabbit and 2 baby deer.
