Quick story. We came to Elkins WV for an impromptu wedding for our son and his fiancé because of a severe family medical situation. One thing after another seem to go wrong with the information that was given at the courthouse and the wedding almost didn’t happen. The hotel staff went over and above to help, specifically Mrs. Elaine Douglas and Mr. Chip Friddle, by calling everyone they could think of to help. Mr Chip ended up contacting an old friend that is a minister. Mr Bobby Benavides agreed to help out because of the situation. Mrs Douglas offered the awesome lobby for the ceremony because of the weather and the wedding happened after all with the help of Mrs Liz Simmons. No words can express how greatful our family is for this generosity. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable but the staff made everything exceptional. Thank you again. the beds were nice and soft. never enough pillows though. but that's why we bring our own. service was great. daughter loved having Wi-Fi. room was nice and comfortable. overall great experience. would definitely stay again.

breakfast not so much, it was basic fast-food breakfast high in carb, not diabetic friendly. coffee was great. juice was watered down. overall, not a fan of fast-food breakfast. would be great for someone with a big family and lots of kids.

it was clean, the beds were very comfy, the location was very good and the staff were very friendly.

The breakfasts were not up to the standard of similar hotels we have recently booked. There was no protein offered other than peanut butter and a very low protein yogurt. They did have scrambled eggs the first morning but no meat. the other two mornings it was only biscuits and gravy and the 3rd day both were left over from the previous morning. When my husband warmed them in the microwave, he couldn’t cut them with the plastic knife. I have to say there was a wide variety of breads, muffins and cereal

Great place to stay if you are headed to ski at Snowshoe. Many restaurants in the area, very quiet at the hotel. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Food was very fresh and plentiful. Very good value. Room was clean and well stocked.

I wish that the TV remote had a sleep feature. I like to fall asleep to TV and without the sleep feature it doesn't make that possible.

Excellent. Our stay was 7 days and the hot breakfast choices varied from day to day. Staff accommodated our request to refreeze our ice blocks for the morning we departed.

Convenient parking was limited late at night.

Almost everything.

There was a large group of Bikers staying there, and they parked their bikes and set up lawn chairs blocking the covered entrance marquis. This forced other arriving patrons to.have to walk through the rain to enter the lobby to check in.. The desk Mgr. Could have asked them to arrange their chairs to allow vehicle access. There was ample room for both.

We loved the cleanliness and comfort of the bed. Most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home. Loved having a refrigerator and a nice view of the mountains. Loved the price and the staff.

Sitting on the patio was a little noisy with truck traffic below. Glad we brought a sound machine to tune out the traffic during the night.

I turned in my keys "cards." Then, grab a quick breakfast. While I was loading up on my bike to leave. The front desk contacted me that housekeeping found my riding jacket. Staff was good , room clean, and they looked out for me ! YES, I would stay again.

It was an impeccably clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price—- $40 less than the Holiday Inn Express across the road. The staff were very accommodating and allowed me to check in early and pal my motorcycle under the covered entrance. Breakfast was included and was very good.

It would have been nice if it had a pool and a guest laundry.

Breakfast was adequate, and different each day. As for the view, we had a great view of the parking lot, but the hotel did have an outdoor space that overlooked the town. We used it several times.

Room had a funny odor. It was clean, but each time you walked in it had an odor that I could not identify.
