Centennial Motel

Older property that looks a bit "dated" and shows some signs of wear. Don't let that fool you - the property is maintained and kept VERY clean. Good location with a quick walk to town's main drag as well as nearby stores. Excellent value for comfortable accommodations while sight-seeing in West Virginia. Close to the highway so easy drive to Seneca Rock or Spruce Knob or the scenic rail trips out of Elkins. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. They quickly provided a few things for the room that were missing (hair dryer, hangers.)

Everything in our room worked and was clean. Some of the furnishings show signs of wear.

It's a very basic motel room, non-descript but clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well and there was plenty of hot water. I did notice what appeared to be black mold on the bathroom door frame. Also, a piece of small trim was missing from the under-sink storage shelves, leaving several nails exposed that could pose a danger to someone who might bump against them.

From the retro exterior to the updated rooms, this place is a gem! Close to good restaurants and easy to get to. The rooms are spacious, clean, and updated. If you're in the Buckhannon area, this is where you want to stay!

My wife and I love Buckhannon. She went to college there and we often go back to visit and are even considering moving there. Every time we visit, we always choose to stay at Centennial Motel. The staff is always so friendly and usually remember me despite that we aren’t there that often anymore. The rooms go for a great rate, are always impeccable and highly comfortable. And right in the middle of everything so you can get places easily. It’ll always be our choice when visiting.

Quiet really nice people and very convenient and close to a lot of stores close to Duke steakhouse and Scottys and Elkins

Extra pillows would’ve been nice and a better mattress but other than that it was awesome

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great. You are located within walking distance to restaurants, drug stores, and the quaint downtown. There is a pub with a restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast is very nice. There are tables and chairs located right outside your door, so you can sit outdoors. the rooms are very clean and the room is large. Also, they are pet friendly.

There are no vending machines. Some people may be put off by the door access. It is not located inside a hallway, but opens to the parking lot. I quite enjoyed it, as it was convenient. You walk put and your car is right outside the door. It is an older building.

It's great for the prices very clean, comfy beds, and the staff has always helped make our stay perfect when needed. Hands down best Motel in town!

There wasnt a hair dryer in the room we had and ofcourse mine had to stop heating. Which this isn't something that would change my mind about this motel. I absolutely love staying here. It's great for the price you pay!!

Staff has always been extremely nice and accommodating. We have used this place 5 or 6 times now. Facility is comfortable to stay at, is pet friendly, and always have clean rooms with a microwave and refrigerator.

No coffee pot in room but we bring our own.

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Very big room and great lighting.

The front desk folks were the friendliest I have ever met. Great location. The room was decent. Bathroom was clean and bright.

The room had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke.
