Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ripley, an IHG Hotel

My girlfriend and sister loved the breakfast. We didn’t get the exact room we booked but it was still okay with size and comfort. Need vent fan in bathroom. Was looking forward to using the pool. The pool was being serviced at that time. That was a downer. Receptionist was excellent. Very friendly and kind lady. Out of all hotels in Ripley this is the best hotel to stay. We’ll be back. Thank you.

Pool was unusable. Keep towels and wash clothes replenished morning and night.

Breakfast was ok to good. It wasn't the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, but it had enough options. It did Not have enough seating. The room was excellent, clean, all the good things, the staff was excellent as well

A notification the pool wasn't working - we picked where to stop in our trip based on having a pool..... and then it was down. That put a shadow on the whole experience.

a single staff member was very rude, and not enough towels and wash clothes were available. we had a family of 6 staying in a queen suite. two towels were in the room and then when we tried to find more, we were told no wash clothes were clean at that time we’d have to come back in 2 hours.. this was at midnight so needless to say we didn’t go back until morning and then there were few towels and wash clothes then.

The front desk man was professional and nice. Room had enough outlets from phones and my cpap.. This is our second stay. They had a good amount of food for breakfast. All the food was kept full. The nice lady even took our plates when we were finished. Really a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was located right in the middle of anything you wanted to do. Upon arrival the staff had all been very friendly and answered any questions knowledgeable. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed.

That the pool was closed for maintenance.

Staff was friendly, everything was clean! We booked again for our return home.

There was someone touring around with the staff. When he asked about laundry rates as I was starting my laundry load, the housekeeper had to clarify that it was $2 each machine, not for both. His response was “you scared me”. I found this a little hard to swallow when I was paying $149 and the hotel was booked. Just came off as greedy (I was already ok with paying the laundry rate). I don’t know who the man was, and it won’t stop me from recommending this hotel and the wonderful staff!

The breakfast was great! We have stayed the last couple years here for the 4th and have always been satisfied.

There was no information about the pool being shut down. That is always a big seller with our kids. The workout room didn’t have much.

the room was modern and clean and very well appointed. loved the decor!!! very comfortable.

the right side of the bed was slightly vibrating because of some sort of mechanical in the basement below. I had to sleep on the left side of the bed. also, the pool was closed.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel has been recently updated. It was clean and comfortable.

The pool was closed. Our boys were in town for a wrestling camp and really wanted to use the pool. It was disappointing we could not use it.

My favorite part of our stay was the employees working in the breakfast area. Talk about southern hospitality! I was greeted so pleasantly with a big smile when I walked in. I was told what was available and she was so happy to get those items for me. Another employee saw that I needed a tray to bring breakfast back to the room. She happily asked if I needed the tray and promptly went to get it for me. Both gals made my day!!

There was only decaf coffee in our room, I called the front desk to have some brought up but no one answered. I would have gone and got it myself but I was already in my pajams when I realized it.
