Holiday Inn Express St Croix Valley, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was okay, I was hoping for sausage in the gravy, for the biscuits and gravy! Hot tub was nice, we like that no kids after 10pm. The young lady that was at the front desk when we checked in was very sweet!

The housekeeper that I asked for more towels was not the friendliest!! Sorry 2 towels for 4 women staying 2 nights are not enough!! What was with the guard's walking the hallways shutting our door? We left it open so one of us could run down 4 doors to get ice, and a hall monitor came and flipped it and shut it saying, we need to keep the door closed at all times!! it gets stuffy in there, so we had it cracked open for air movement. We were in the room at the time, and to just reach in and close it, is not right!! Seriously???

Hot breakfast both mornings, a change from other hotels that only provide bagged items during covid. The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked.

NOISY GUESTS!! Hotel staff did a much as they could. There was a youth hockey team staying there that was rather loud and unruly with kids playing hockey in the hallways and taking over the pool area being loud and crazy. I didn't feel safe being in the pool area with my 6 and 3 year olds with balls flying everywhere and kids rough-housing in the pool while their parents sat on the side drinking not paying attention to the kids.

The staff at st croix was extremely helpful and made sure we got our room that booking.com completely screwed us on,if it wasn't for them we would have to sleep in our car

Booking.com sucks,there customer service sucks, instead of solving the problem,the booking.com staff would put us on hold and eventually hang up avoiding the problem,I will never use the app again, and will tell anyone who will listen not to use it either 🤔

I would have given them a 10, but the fire alarm went off at 1226a woke me up then I had a hard time going back to sleep. There was no discount for the disruption of the stay. Would have been nice to get a 10% discount.

The room was quite large and the bathroom and room met all ADA expectations for disabilities. The bath was out of kleenix and there was only one keurig cup for coffee in the room, but, coffee was readily available in the lobby. The breakfast exceeded our expectations.

There was no way to contact the lobby except to walk to the front desk, to ask for towels or kleenix.

The hotel was in a great location to what we had planned to do in the area. The front staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The free coffee in the lobby was a nice perk. The free breakfast was well done despite COVID restrictions in place. I would definitely stay again.

I loved that the swimming pool closed at 10pm and opened at 4am. So before I left I got to swim for a little bit

Everything was great, the breakfast wasn't the greatest but that's okay. COVID really messed things up when it comes to that.

Very good breakfast...good selection; fresh; hot; always well stocked Nice big and clean pool/hot tub. Common areas and eating area were clean, calming and welcoming staff was very accommodating, helpful and attentive

A very pleasant surprise in this time of Covid--with very friendly staff to show us how the pancake machine worked. Breakfast bar included items we especially appreciate: bananas, yogurt and very good coffee

Breakfast was ok not many choices but for free I cant complain. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful

There was sand in the hot tub and alot of mold on the floor in the pool area. It was kinda gross.
