We were allocated 606/222 Citywalk. The agency holds a number of properties and bookings are allocated to a property. Key collection and the allocated property may not be in the same building. Directions to collect the keys were sent by SMS and were very clear. Written directions to the property were inside the envelope with the keys - again these are clearly written and easy to follow. The property is very well located for inner city stays. It is very clean and has comfortable furniture and layout but would be far too small for more than two people. Restaurants, shops etc are literally just outside the door. A very comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen as well as two comfortable lounges. The balcony is small but great views of the fountain and surrounds. The galahs in the plane trees outside the apartment are great fun to watch. We left a bag in the apartment when we checked out and are hoping to arrange with the agency to have it returned to us.
Remember this is an inner city apartment so expect some noise. We reported that two lights were not working and the screen door in the bedroom refuses to stay in its track and falls onto anyone trying to open it without knowing to be careful.

Building was located in easily accessible spot on the main Northbourne Ave that leads into Canberra. Parking was underground and room was located with great views out to the surrounding landscape. Apartment was so close to all facilities and we could even walk to the Canberra Centre shops. It was nice that we did not need to drive far to reach all the great tourist spots - less than 10 mins. The staff in the reception desk were absolutely lovely and helpful especially as we had problems initially with the key getting into our apartment but that was sorted out for us. Bed was very comfortable also. Visited Botanic Gardens and National Gallery during our visit.
Wifi in apartment was very hit and miss, on and off so gave up on that, but was able to utilise phone data instead, not a major problem for us but could be for people coming down to Canberra for work and needing reliable internet. Other than that we were happy with everything.

This apartment was very well set up with everything we could need. The management group gave us very clear and easy to understand directions in relation to accessing the apartment and the parking + apartment were very secure. The location was also perfect for us with restaurants and cafes in very easy walking distance - great variety too. All appliances e.g. air conditioner, all worked perfectly.
The balcony overlooked the backyards / parking lots of the series of units behind our building. These units had an early-morning maintenance crew which woke us (ha ha). Also the water leaks under the shower door (sealing gone I think); just needs a repair.

The apartment in Mode3 on Lonsdale St is a really spacious one bed apartment. It faces east, (not towards Lonsdale St) so gets the morning sun, and the wall of glass in the bedroom heats up quickly. The air con takes care of it quickly. Furniture was comfortable, and the apartment was fabulous. Loved it and the location. Secure parking in the basement right next to the lift, but the apartment was on the opposite end of the building. It was an easy walk along the 4th floor corridor.
When I tried to ask a question about the instructions not matching the keys I was given I was met with a supercilious description of my inadequacy in knowing the difference between the check in location and the location of the apartment. Twice. Eventually, the staff member listened to the question I had asked and threw the correct keys onto the desk and snatched the set I had been given from me. Lesson to be learned: Don't expect the office staff to listen to you or think it is their job to help you. Then I was told that I had ruined her day and she hoped my day was ruined too. You don't expect to be abused when you ask a question about keys.

We stayed 10 nights on the 7th floor of The Avenue Apartments in Moore Street Turner. Walking distance to the ANU, CBD, grocery shops, light rail and bus stops.................and to the tourist hub of Lonsdale Street Braddon. A large well-appointed single bedroom apartment facing Black Mountain Tower and the ANU. Lock up accommodation for a motor vehicle was provided underneath the building. A 15-metre swimming pool was available to refresh after a day of tourism. This location quieter than on Northbourne Avenue.
Suggest a light above the bathroom mirror to facilitate face painting and shaving. A fan in the bedroom would help on those balmy nights, as the air conditioning unit was located in the living area.

Didn't like procedure for getting keys, coding unusual so a bit stressful. Instructions for parking also stressful. missed seeing the small entry post as we were driving in but luckily someone was behind us and the gate opened. Numbers on the ground for car space so hard to see in the dark. No internet or hair dryer at first but was rectified by manager the next day. Couldn't get anyone on the phone numbers left if we needed help. Floor looked clean but very dusty around skirting boards, area around the shower glass needed a bit more cleaning, did expect better for luxury apartment. Was informed by manager (who was very helpful, thank you) they had just taken over and were trying to fix things.

The facilities were good. Lots of kitchen items. It was a quiet pretty location near a huge park and easy to access from the street as we did not have a car. The unit was clean and tidy. The bathrooms were great and showers good. The beds were firm but in very good condition. The blankets were great and we used them. The unit was about a 15 minute walk to the city and there was a tram in the next street. The restaurants and pubs were only 2 or 3 blocks away.
Basically a bit old and rundown. It would not take too much work to get it to a good level. The air conditioner was only in the living room but it worked ok. There were dodgy old heaters in the bedrooms which we decided were not great to use overnight. The electric blanket did not work in the main bedroom. Blinds needed updating especially at the front of the unit for privacy and the garden courtyard was all weeds. Difficult to read the dials on the oven unfortunately.

Location was amazing and close to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping centres, parks etc. Parking was secure & easy to access. The apartment was amazing! It was HUGE! And more than adequate as our family weekend getaway accommodation. Ensuite bathroom to main bedroom (with BIR) and laundry facilities where I was able to do unforseen laundry. Kitchen was great! Was able to cater for family meals when we weren't eating out. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Narelle organised someone to attend the property to assist us with our WiFi. She was an absolute sweetheart taking my call at 4pm on a Friday afternoon!
The only thing to mention was that the dishwasher was a bit tired looking, but it otherwise did the job it was meant to do without any issue.

Spacious apartment. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Close walking distance to Casino where we had dinner on two evenings. Pleasant view from main living room and bedroom. Handy to use the washing machine, clothes airer and ironing board all located in the apartment.
Airconditioner in main living area was noisy. No parking reserved or 5 minute only parking for customers arriving and needing to collect key from drop box. No parking available to drive car out then return to the apartment to leave the key. Had to park on the nature strip then return key to apartment.

Good location and the apartment was a good size. Check in was easy and we liked the secure underground parking. The bathroom was ok but we don’t like showers over the bath. Bed was comfortable and the heater in the bedroom was great
The heating in the living area didn’t work so they had to send up a portable heater. The two living room lounges were dreadful totally not suitable for seniors or anyone with back or leg issues we had a lot of trouble getting up off them and so we had to sit on the dining chairs. One tiled wall in the bathroom had long black hairs still on the tiles.
