The Sebel Canberra Campbell

Loved the Room, loved the coffee machine and the kitchenette. Loved the balcony to enable fresh air to come in. Cleanliness was amazing. Washing machine was also a great feature. Dining table and chairs were great, the room was great.

Was not sure about the disabled bathroom as we are abled people and thought it was a bit different and felt wrong using it. The only disappointing part that there were no extras like a pool spa sauna gym etc. TV could have been a bit higher in the room to allow better use of the bench and storage underneath.

My room was a good size and I appreciated the balcony and opportunity to access fresh air. The air-conditioning was efficient and relatively easy to operate. The bathroom was clean, modern and had a good hot water supply and an efficient extraction fan. The TV screen was large and the image clear. When I requested assistance from the staff they responded quickly and appropriately.

The plant pot looked unwell and, perhaps, overwatered. Because I have sensitivities to scents and molds I placed the plant outside (and forgot to bring it back in when I left - perhaps it will appreciate some sunshine). While it is good to have WiFi, I found that images did not download easily. There may have been a setting on my device I could have changed - but would have preferred if it had all just worked seamlessly. While my room was unscented (as requested, due to my allergies), certain hallways and lobbies were scented and this was a problem for me.

Excellent location, so close to all the main attractions yet in a beautiful, quiet suburb. Lots of great dining options within the area. Rooms was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Excellent level of cleanliness.

Only issue was with the TV which kept turning off. It took 3 phone calls and a personal request to reception staff to finally have someone look at the issue (after 3 days). We were moved to another room immediately.

I liked the location as it was close to my planned activities in Canberra. It was in a quiet area but easily accessible by car. There was plenty of free street parking as I was there on a weekend. I liked the room, it was comfortable and clean. I always like to have a kitchenette so I can do my own thing regarding food, however, there were cafes nearby. Everything was great and I would use this accommodation again.

Reception not there to assist with luggage in the morning despite being advised and asked.. need somewhere for people leaving early to go to work to leave their things. Kept calling when we weren’t there to check in yet even though I said my flight was delayed. No phone signal in the building. Rarely replenished tea bags / had odd numbers to start with.

Service was amazing, from the moment we stepped through the doors the staff were helpful and went above and beyond to fulfill our requests from late checkout, to more coffee and towels and not to mention also adding a bonus treat for our daughter. Thank you for taking care of us!

The bathroom was pretty cramped, and the coverage both phone (we are with Telstra) and internet - the WiFi didn't work either - we found it hard to believe we were in the nation's capital!

Very clean and comfortable room. The bed was especially good quality. Be prepared to walk a little into town, the hotel is about 30 mins from the town centre. The cafe a couple of doors up does excellent coffee

Staff were not particularly friendly. I didn't need to interact with them very much so not a problem

the room was large enough for two people, good kitchen facilities, bathroom was spacious and the full size toiletries were a nice surprise. the room was cleaned daily and restocked. staff were very friendly and accommodating. nice quiet location with plenty of restaurants a short distance away.

parking is at a premium and a little pricey if you are staying for an extended period.

The rooms were lovely, with everything needed - even a washing machine! very quiet location and comfortable bed. Would happily stay here again.

The reception area was a bit sad, and not really reflective of the Sebel brand? Quite odd design choice and not particularly welcoming. Of course, has no impact on the overall comfort of the room, which was great.

Clean, good location and pet friendly rooms available. They provided us with a dog bowl and a dog bed which was nice. We loved being able to stay with our dog. The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable.

One of the kitchen cupboard doors came off the hinge and the shower tap came off so could use a little maintenance - but everything looks clean & new.
