2BR apartment was clean, rooms were well appointed with all you'd need for a long-term stay with a family.. Linen was lovely, as you'd expect. Loved that the apartment had semi-private access, shared with only one other apartment so there were no slamming doors or foot traffic issues. Brilliantly located for all the Canberra attractions/shops/essentials. Staff were excellent.

Bathroom was way too small for a two bedroom/family apartment and there was nowhere to put toiletries etc, other than on the small window-sill. Wash basin was tucked away in a corner and not very easily accessible for the adults. Television could be updated to a smart TV to allow for families to add streaming services for when choosing some down-time.

Last minute need due to car issues. Comfortable suitable room available. Motel contacted us to see what time we'd be arriving, reception open till 9pm which was super helpful rather than trying to find a key from a box at the end of a long day. Room was spacious, comfortable, modern. Definitely stay again.

Only down side of the rooms is that there is only one air condition in the lounge and struggled to effectively cool the bedrooms. Bedroom also didnt have fans. May be uncomfortable bedrooms on a hot day.

The property is clean, modern, comfortable and in an excellent location. The kitchen large and well-equipped, including a washer/dryer, and the bathroom large with a great shower. Two large flat screen TVs, King bed in master and twin beds in 2nd bedroom were comfortable, with good storage space in both bedrooms.The gardens are beautiful, with a great outdoor BBQ area. The Restaurant's dinner choices were great, the food was delicious with generous portions. We loved our stay and will return when we are next in Canberra.

The only thing missing was a cutting board in the kitchen.

Exceptional value for money just a stones throw from Manuka's many cafes and restaurants, with off-street parking, a full-featured kitchen, loungeroom and bathroom, and comfortable beds for all. And on a chilly Canberra afternoon, to open the door to the apartment to find the air conditioning running and the room warmed up was the icing on the cake.

Given its proximity to Manuka, and being on a Friday night, there seemed to be quite a lot of loud voices floating up from the streets/laneways below well into the night/early morning.

The room was everything you would want in a stay away from home, the location was wonderful for us with all tourist locations we visited nearby and shops/restaurants walking distance. Aside from what is noted below the garden and BBQ area were well maintained and a lovely environment.

A member of our family with allergies did have problems with all the highly fragrant Star Jasmine style plants in full bloom surrounding the BBQ area and rear units, although for those without allergies the BBQ area was a great option for self catering.

We came to this property at the last minute, due to an issue with the accommodation we had originally booked falling through. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The location in relation to Parliament and other museums in the heart of Canberra was very good. Close to a supermarket and other food options. The kitchen was very useful. The Smart TV with several viewing options was a delight. Good price for the area. I would stay here again.

Some parts of motel are dated and are due an update, but it did not detract from our stay.

Clean, room had washing machine and drier, also dishwasher/oven cookware etc. Plenty of parking although not allocated to room. 2 bedroom unit with good size bathroom and plenty of hot water, room had obviously been renovated.

For a unit for 4 there was only 1 sofa to sit on. Washing machine/drier was excellent to have to use but made a lot of noise and as kitchen/lounge one room it made it hard to hear tv etc. Units above made a lot of noise moving around or perhaps was their washing machine as well. Accommodation given to us wasn't actually at Forrest but in another street, called Albany Apartments so didnt get to see Forrests gardens or anything else.

The staff was helpful to answer my questions. A staff lady helped me take heavy luggage up to my room in the 2nd floor. She also helped me book a taxi to leave for the airport on my departure day. The room is spacious with a long table to place my belongings.

The location is far from the city without many restaurants and shops. It is also not closed to the attractions either. The facility is best to stay for road travelers with cars. No elevators to the rooms in upper level, thus it is difficult to move heavy luggage to the rooms in the 2nd floor.

Large 2 bedroom, comfortable for entertaining friends and family. Recently renovated kitchen, bathroom. Nicely appointed furniture, carpet in lounge was plush under feet after long day on the road. Great outdoor BBQ area. easy walk between multiple rooms

Like many places in Canberra airconditioning only available in lounge making it difficult to cool the bedrooms which also do not have fans. Was a relatively comfortable day this time, but can be very uncomfortable if its really hot. Ceiling fans would be a great addition while renovating the facilities.
