Champagne André Bergère

Great location, in the middle of the Avenue De Champagne, which makes everything is in walking distance. Parking is available. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok.

Wifi was terrible. I'd expected a glass of champagne at breakfast, especially in the heart of the Champagne region. Although the beds were good, the were much too small. But that's typical for France unfortunately.

The location was superb! We went purposely for the champagne experience and wasn't disappointed. As part of our road trip we were pleasantly surprised and have already recommended the hotel to some friends who are doing the same later this year. We would happily go back!

The only concern I had was that the whole building is divided into apartments and our room was in two parts; the living quarters were in one and then you went via a hallway to our bedroom which was screened off by a divider to the rest of the house. It was ok, but wouldn't have felt very happy if I had been travelling alone as there wasn't a door to lock when we were in bed? Just a point for the owners to consider?

It exceeded our expectations. We had a huge apartment with our own littel patio outside, where we could enjoy our lovely french cakes and pastries with a glass of champagne from the house. The staff was fantastic, very polite, very helpful. Lia explained a lot about the champagne, we tasted 3 types each while we were there and bought a couple of bottles to take home. We wanted to visit the cellar, but it was closed. Next time. Breakfast was amazing, big choice and fresh products. Location of course is a huge advantage, right on the champagne avenue. Parking is secure. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality.

Charming, very well located, small family owned Champagne House with many personal touches that made it very comfortable and felt like staying with family .Lovely courtyard that was for the personal use of the few overnight guests in the evenings and mornings when the Champagne House was closed to the public. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff ( Jessica, Amerique) were very attentive, friendly and accommodating Thoroughly enjoyed the tour offered by Champagne Andre Bergere of their vineyards and cellars in the country followed by tastings.

It was in a fabulous location on the Avenue of Champagne. Room was very roomy. On one day we were leaving early and so were given croissants to take with us. Breakfast was from 8 and we were leaving earlier. There was a lovely courtyard on the property to sit and have drinks and ample parking.

Breakfast seemed inconsistent, on the first day we weren't offered anything other the continental (which was lovely) and then the next breakfast we were offered cooked eggs as an option. I didn't get a chance to check (we stayed in a lot of places on our trip) but the booking did say champagne on arrival and were weren't given that. We were offered the option of a cellar tour which we booked but unfortunately this was cancelled due to staffing issues.

Location in Epernay was wonderful with many champagne houses within an easy walk. The property is lovely with a beautiful garden and breakfast area. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Staff were charming and very helpful.

The room, while large and fairly well appointed seemed to be more standard than deluxe compared to others that we were able to peek into. The TV remote was missing, apparently taken by a previous occupant and there were no English language TV programs available for a catch up with what was happening in the wider world.

Central location on the Avenue de Champagne; very friendly and helpful staff; room comfortable; lovely shared terrace on which to enjoy a glass of champagne.

Not much but if being picky there was often a fairly strong smell of drains from our kitchen area and some of the light bulbs need replacing. It was frustrating that the shop shut at 6pm, which meant no evening champagne could be enjoyed, but this seemed to be common practice on the Avenue de Champagne.

A substantial breakfast buffet with eggs cooked in five optional ways! Being located right on the Rue de Champagne, gave us the opportunity to explore the various champagne ‘houses’ as well as a champagne tasting in their beautiful patio, with a short walk to the city centre. AThe rooms were tastefully decorated, very clean with lots of towels snd a bathrobe too ! Very pleasant and helpful staff and secured parking added to the good rating. Expensive maybe, but well worth the money.

- Deluxe Apartment space could have been better used. Could easily be a 2 bed apartment! It’s almost TOO big! Would probably book the standard room next time. - There’s a number of external accesses without locks. Whilst the property always was locked down at night, it did feel like anyone could have walked in from the breakfast room. another lock here would be very helpful.

liked the secure parking on site, the location in the centre of Avenue de Champagne. Easy walking to the champagne houses. Easy walking to the centre of Epenay which had a good selection of restaurants and shops for self catering

The room facilities were not looked after, trivial things that are easy to live round like the generous Nespresso coffee pods and toilet roll were only replaced after asking. A few of the doors sweeked loudly, wall mounted things were loose. Not enough cups/mugs. Cutlery draw falls off its runner and a broken light bulb was never replaced.
