Hotel de Champagne

Fantastic location in Epernay, being walking distance to the restaurants and Avenue de Champagne that we wanted to visit. They also permitted pets! The main floor guest bathroom was also great for when we both needed the WC.

The fee for the breakfast was pretty steep for what was offered. The sink was a little hard to use in the hotel room bathroom because there was not much space between the spout and the edge of the bowl.

Great breakfast, very complete and very good. Also the breakfast room was spacious and modern. Great location, in the center but quiet lateral street. Bottles fridge (for water or champagne) in the room.

Facilities: no hotel parking, kind of expected in the city but could be a problem. Fortunately the hotel provided info on alternatives nearby. Rooms on the small side, but comfy and with a very good (new) A/C system.

Very good value for money, excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed and good bathroom. Great location, close to excellent restaurants, tourist office, bike hire venue and champagne houses. Parking available across the road at no charge.

Dirty tea cup not replaced.

Great base for browsing Epernay centre. Clean and comfortable rooms. Reasonably priced parking just across the street. Superb breakfast!

Room walls are paper thin! The rooms are also very tightly designed so not a lot of space. Staff seemed surprisingly unaware of the nearby parking and charges.

The desk staff was great - was considerate enough to give us an upgrade due to our experience the day before with an Airbnb unit. It was greatly appreciated. Also gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant. Parking was right across the street - very convenient.

Everything was fine.

The breakfast was superb! The finest French cheeses! The coffee was also excellent. Thank heavens for the air con as it was above 30C!!

The shelves inside the Wadrobe needed dusting that’s the only thing - everything else was great 👍

The hotel was perfectly situated in Epernay, close to the Avenue de Champagne and we could walk easily to restaurants and shops. The parking opposite is no longer available but an underground car park is close by. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was good too.

The Hotel is in a good location a short walk to the centre (100m) where there are shops and restaurants. Also a short distance from Rue de Champagne. The car park opposite the hotel was closed with some work being done but the central car park is less than 50m away, we got a 2 day ticket which was a reasonable price.

Nothing not to like our 2 night stay was very good.

The location was excellent for visiting Moet & Chandon and touring around the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful both before and throughout our stay.

The room was a bit cramped. Quite tricky accessing the wardrobes as very close to the bed. Not a big issue as we only stayed for a few days.

The beds were amazing..nice and firm, so was easy to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was lovely, lots of variety to suit different tastes and the location was perfect..very central and quiet.

Bathroom was a bit outdated and needed some work, however was very clean and functional.
