Estrel Berlin

I'm delighted to say that the room was extremely comfortable and impeccably clean, providing a wonderful environment during our stay. Additionally, having three restaurants on the premises was quite convenient, although we noticed that only one of them was operational at the time. However, we were pleasantly surprised when the hotel graciously upgraded us to a better room, as the level we originally booked was fully occupied. It demonstrated their excellent customer service. One highlight of the room was undoubtedly the fantastic shower area, which added to the overall enjoyment and relaxation of our stay. Furthermore, the staff members were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit.

As for the neighborhood, while it provided a convenient location, we noticed that it might not be as friendly as we had hoped. On a positive note, the Estrel Hotel itself stands out as one of the best-looking buildings in the district. Its architecture and aesthetics added to the overall appeal of the area.

The hotel is very modern, with big rooms and comfy beds. The bathroom in the hotel is spacious with a powerful shower and a built in bluetooth speaker. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Sonnenalle S Bahn station which can bring you into Berlin hbf in about 20 minutes or less. The hotel itself is quite which is great to get a good nights sleep. Would stay again.

The pillows were a tad uncomfortable. There was no facilities in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee.

We had booked a room with a double bed and confirmed on the phone that such a room would be available but it wasn't. Despite this, we had to pay for an upgrade ourselves. We got a suite, which was a great choice and highly recommended as the price difference between the superior rooms and the suites is marginal and does not reflect the difference in room size and comfort. The suite and the entire hotel were extremely clean and in a good location. Overall, the price-quality ratio is very good for Berlin.

The reception staff was very nice but couldn't really make any decisions without consulting the manager, who was giving instructions from the background and refusing customer requests without even doing it personally.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms. Multiple spacious conference rooms and a variety of restaurants, for every taste. I could not take advantage of it, but Wellness and gym were also available. Professional, efficient and helpful staff. Very close to the Sonnenallee S-bahn station, where one could easily hop on the ring bahn and explore other areas of Berlin.

In general, it is not the cheapest option on the market and probably not ideal if one wants to be walking distance from touristic spots in Berlin.

Very close to Bus station (in the hotel within 15mins) but overall hotel have many public transportation around. The surrounding ain't that clean or attractive but way to city center took only 20min thus is worthy to stay there. Lobby impressed me with huge space, nice art and evening program (Divas show). Room was clean, modern just electricity plug was only at one side of the bed instead of both. Easy check-in/out online without waiting on reception. Sauna as plus to the accommodation.

The hotel had everything I needed for my stay Due to a train line that lases being closed for weekend, made it hard to get to my friends as easy as I would have liked, but that is not the problem of the hotel. I fell in after 3am most nights and out early morning. Could not complain about anything. Hotel exceptionally clean and what I needed. Very much recommend it for great size rooms and bathrooms and lovely service. Perfect of you need town and airport 15mins either side. Highly recommended it

The staff of the hotel is very helpful and polite. I got all the help and advices I needed from reception, touris desk, waitress. They have a safe room for luggage keeping if needed. The room was clean, quite and the beds were very comfortable with soft sheets. I was on the 12 floor and had a nice view to the city. Easy connection from the hotel to main districts in Berlin.

The hotel is located in a neighborhood that is not very safe. Be careful when you come back at night with the public transport.

We stayed in a suit with my wife and daughter. The room (in fact two rooms) was spacious and clean, well decorated and suitable for work and leisure. The bathroom was big, featuring both a shower cabin and a bath tub. Housekeeping requests (e.g. iron / board, additional hangers for the wardrobe etc.) were fulfilled timely. Staff at the reception was mostly very helpful and friendly, but most importantly adequately staffed to handle the inflow of guests.

I chose a large double bed, but they provided us with twin beds, which was not ideal. I settled everything the night before departure specifically to avoid queuing up in the morning, and was advised by the receptionist simply to leave the keycards at the desk when leaving. It turned out however they didn't have a box for cards and I was asked to wait in line to formally check out, which contradicted what the clerk said before. I had no time to wait for it, so we were off to the train station leaving cards on the reception desk and I texted them via booking.com explaining the whole story. Never heard from them since :)

- clean rooms, large parking, big lobby - czyste i duże pokoje, duży piętrowy parking, hotel ma piękne i wielkie przeszklone lobby.

- you should pay extra for everything, also for water in room (5 euro per 500ml bottle sic!), you pay for breakfast which is normal in hotels but you have to pay extra for beverages in breakfast (tea, coffee, water, juice) and this is not normal ;-)

Really professional staff, located in a brand new expansion area of the city. Room was clean and functional with windows facing the large internal double volume lobby.

Even if reserve a room with double bed the structure give us a room with single bed, as there was no other room free. Air conditioner was noisy and not efficient, with the consequence that the room was super dry and hot, this is forcing you to drink the non gratuity bottle of water that cost around 4€. Car parking is free only for the first hours while in the area there are a lot of free parking slot ( expecially in the weekend)
