Hotel Goldmarie

Communication with the reception and all information was excellent. Check-in and Check-out was exceptionally easy and quick. The hotel is located in one of the very best and vibrant locations of Berlin. Easily accessible, with public transport just a few steps away. Plenty of dining options, shopping, bars, partying, hanging out areas, just around the hotel. Many cultural and historical places are just a few steps away.. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. WiFi worked perfectly. Despite being on a very busy street, it was very quiet. The hotel is concerned about health and well being of guests, particularly taking stairs instead of an elevator. Fitness is a core matter here. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the entire staff.

The fact that there is no elevator, which brings me to mind that it is a wheelchair unfriendly hotel, unless the ground floor is exceptionally reserved for guests on wheelchairs. The stairs were a killer (ha ha), but at the of the day, it was worth climbing the stairs to the 4th floor, of which even though it is loathed, it is very healthy.

Beds were very comfortable, very close to s-bahn station, friendly and helpful staff, clean bathroom, easily accessible during any hour by side entrance. I booked the stay with plenty of time before our stay and don't remember booking a room with kitchenette, but was pleasantly surprised that we got room with it, so we saved a bit on morning coffees. Very close to the property is also convinience store. We didn't honestly expect much from the room with such a low pricetag, but we were very glad from the beginning of our stay, that we decided to go with this hotel, as we enjoyed lounging around in our beds when we weren't feeling like exploring the city.

We had to turn of the heating during night, because it would get too hot (but that's subjective) and sometimes it took a long time for a warm water to run during the morning (but that's understandable, when there's a lot of people showering in the morning).

The room was very clean and there were toiletries available. The hotel has a really good location. It's about 5 minutes from the central train station and 1 minute from the bus station.

No mini fridge in the room The bed was really uncomfortable. Very soft and bouncing. Also the bed sheets were so thin you could feel the matress. An extra sheet was needed for sure. Also, before you reach the hotel there is an alley that smells really bad from public urination.

if you're planning on visiting the Mercedes Benz Arena this place is perfect, but I'm sure it's also great for other plans, the restaurants near it are great and it's very close to public transport. the bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette was well stocked! overall perfectly fine, especially for the price

they do not have an elevator, so consider that when packing, and the water drain smells weird after a shower, but nothing to serious

Near everything

The noise. Because it was so hot we had to open the windows. The street noise did not bother us but some men that were screaming extremely loud for like an hour at 4:00am. It is probably not like that every night. But the 2 nights we had people screaming for a long time. Maybe drunk? However, the hotel was nice and very practical to go anywhere. I think if we did not have to open the einfow it would not be so loud.

The location, I liked the design, the look (the wonderful colors of the walls, the chandelier and the chairs in the lobby) Room was small, very simple, but with all you need (ok one thing- I missed toothbrush cup). Window to the courtyard.

Unfortunately the bed (mattrasse) was too much soft for me (but many people love this softness). This location is lively, vibrant, but noisy- I am afraid in the room with window to the street should be noise

The hotel is accessible by all means of public transport since it is a couple of metres from Warschauer Str. station. Since we arrived late in the evening and the reception was closed, we were given detailed instructions to reach our room and we made very easily. Thanks to Natasha, we were given a stand-fan since the temperature in our room was very hot. Natasha and her staff were very great in helping us.

It would be more comfortable if we had a small fridge in our room.

The room was large, with high ceilings. The bed was soft and very comfortable. In the room was a little kitchen, with sink, fridge and a little cooker. It was a great bonus. The room was very clean and comfortable.

It was a very warm couple of days, as there was no air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open. It was very noisy even though my room was at the back of the hotel.

room was ok, location is perfect for party (RAW and further on Wrangel Kiez and Kreuzberg is right around the corner) but if you just want to explore the east, it‘s quite good connected

well, not very fancy, no nothing eg vending machine for the night, reception is not attended overnight, on weekends only from 10-6

Very nice staff, great location 5 min away from Warschauerstr. S and U-bahn station. The single room was nice and equipped with a fridge, kettle and micro-wave, so you can do some basic cooking. They provide a plate and cutlery. In January 2022, due to covid, the staff cleans your room only on request, don't forget to ask the reception if you wish them to clean. The hotel was very quiet in January and I enjoyed my stay there.

The rooms are a bit old-fashioned and the bed's mattress was very soft. It's not a luxury hotel, but good value for money.
