Metropol Hostel Berlin

Very convenient, located right next to u-bahn Mehringdamm with lots of little eateries around and near Columbiahalle, where we were going for a concert. The beds were comfortable, the room quite big, bathroom quite spacious. The breakfast was continental, but it was very tasty. The service was good, both at reception and for breakfast. Very helpful staff.

There was a stuffy smell in the room when you came back after having been out for a few hours. Luckily, we could open the window and air it out.

it’s literally right after you exit the Mehringdam U-Bahn station so you can get anywhere in the city with ease. They also offer a wide range of options for the breakfast buffet and lots of places to sit and even work in the bar area. Lots of places to eat nearby

I was on a top bunk and the mattress was uncomfortable to the point that I almost could feel the planks beneath it. Not all beds have a charger or a reading lamp next to them.

Very clean and warm room (we visit the hostel during winter, so it's a big pro). Breakfast was simple but for sure fresh and properly prepared. There are big windows in the room with the view of main street which has it's own charm. It's also good location to explore restaurants and street food. Only note: you should ask about hairdryer in the recipe in advance as they have limited amount.

Place is located very close to U-bahn station Mehringdamm, very close to street with Kebabs Curry Wursts and also other restaurants and shops. room was bigger than i expected, with two comfortable beds, big wardrobe and clean bathroom. Room was very sunny. Breakfast was quite basic, but tasty with ham, cheese and some vegetables and yogurt. Coffee and teas was also included. Even it was Hostel my room was located in quite area.

We visited Hostel Metropol in 5 family members, stayed alone in 8 bed room 3 days, had tasty and fresh rich offer breakfast in community of cosmopolitan thinking people, had great experiences with lovely and helpfull hostel staff and the hostel surrounding offers almost all: a lot of most different places to eat for good prices and municipal transport straight in front of hostel. Metropol Hostel is perfect place to stay in Berlín

In spíte of that the hostel remains on 3rd and 4th floor and my son had knee injury, the elevatory worked without problem. We were satisfied.

A nice place to stay while you're visiting Berlin for the first time. It's very good located, it's safe and the people are very nice. The breakfast was really cool too !

When I arrived I felt a little lost and the personal was not very nice. But the rest of crew people were very kind and helpful with me.

Room was super clean and the beds were really comfortable. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Location is great, just by the entrance to the underground. Breakfast was good, plentiful and good variety.

Ground floor was a bit shabby and lots of rubbish in the lobby area.

It's right next to a metro station, the room was very large, and very quiet. Good Wifi. They have a nice staff too. Even after my checkout, they let me leave my lugagge stored the for the rest of the day. I could also chill in their lounge until my flight time

The elevator gets busy sometimes and you end up having to use the stairs. It was not a problem for me, but it might be for some people. The reception is on the 3rd floor.

The location right above a metro that gets you to the most important landmarks in less than 30 minutes, the cleanliness of the bedsheets and size of the room and bathroom, the extremely friendly and accommodating staff, the protected luggage room

The breakfast could be a bit better, but it met our basic expectations

Good location with lots of eating places just outside the hostel. U-bahn is just a few steps away and you can walk to Checkpoint Charlie in about 20mins. Good basic continental breakfast. There are some convenience grocery stores around as well.

Be prepared to pay 5 euros for linen. Also no common area kitchen you can use but they will let you use their microwave in the lobby.
