Solitaire Hotel

The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. There is a great vending machine with wine and snacks. They offer you a treat if you do not wish to have the room cleaned - that is a cute touch. The buffet breakfast is very good.

I didn't see the staff very much, if you needed help there is no-one there. They are around at breakfast time and are very rude when 10pm arrives! Breakfast finishes at that time but it is self service and it would be nice if they were a little more relaxed about it. one morning they spoke in German to the room, telling us to leave by 10 but it was obvious some of the guests did not understand.

We had a studio with a kitchenette and balcony and loved it. The location was very convenient for us as it was close to my son's apartment but it is also close to public transportation and you get to anywhere in the city. We also like the fact that it was in a quiet location close to several parks.

We checked in on Tuesday and received fresh towels on Friday, however, the room and bathroom were never cleaned during our week-long stay. I believe the hotel had only one housekeeper and seemed a bit understaffed.

Lovely room. The location is a bit far out of the centre of Berlin and bit of a walk from the closest S-Bahn station, but it's a nice quiet area with a beautiful park nearby. Very helpful staff who lent me their iPhone charger as I had mislaid my UK to EU adapter. I arrived after 10pm (which was left in a safe) and my keycard didn't work, so they sent round someone who was able to repair it. It's a very pretty hotel too, with plants inside.

Nothing, except that it is a bit of a walk from the station. It's a great hotel and I will be back again for a longer stay!

The room was nice and comfortable, I especially liked that there was a door between the room where the bed was and the entrance hallway when I entered the room. It helped cut down on the noise from the common areas of the hotel. I liked the sauna, and would go back and use it again, even if I don't stay there.

I was disappointed that the restaurant wasn't operating, I was looking forward to a nice meal on the premises. I had a nice meal, I just had to walk a few minutes to get there. The staff was helpful in recommending restaurants in the area.

Cosy hotel with exotic decor and lovely canteen. I was late for the scheduled check-in time, I called the reception to warn them and they didn't mind waiting for me. It was no problem to get to the hotel after the reception had closed too. The breakfast is good. The bus stop is near the hotel and it is possible to get from the hotel to the Pankow underground station in 20 minutes. I can recommend this hotel.

Nice facility, friendly staff, good breakfast

Booked the room for 3 people, me and my kids. When I arrived, the hotel said that there would be an extra charge for an extra bed, which would have been an extra 45 eur per night. I refused and therefore had to share a narrow single bed with my child. This is a problem with booking.com, not the hotel. If the booking is done for 3, then the price calculation should include enough space for 3 to sleep comfortably.

as most other reviews have mentioned: it is very clean and the staff are very friendly. the breakfast is also another thing to praise. also, I was in a single room and the decoration was efficient.

the distance to the center would be sth to nag about, but that again is not a huge problem because there is a bus stop 1 minute away and it is easy and fast to get to the city. another thing would be that they don’t have a safe in the room ( at least I didn’t have it )

Its a bit of a walk from the local tram stop, but that is made up for by the beautiful green surroundings of nature and trees - both outside and in the hotel! There is a lovely forest next door for walks, and the hotel room provided everything for me and my dog - very peaceful and clean. See you again soon!

The breakfast was a little bit disappointing. Not bad, but not a lot of substance, more of a snack bar than a full breakfast. It would have been nice to have the option to order extra things like eggs etc.

The breakfast is good, good people,comfortable environment with plants around. I like the infrared lamp in the bathroom that keeps you warm and cozy.The idea of environmental-friendly is a good thing. Definitely, will come back next time.

The location is not in the city center but the hotel is very close to a bus stop station.

Nice located, very good accessible by public transport. Nice restaurants nearby like German, Greek, Indian. Room is clean, nice looking furniture, friendly staff. Breakfast was good with enough to choose from. We loved the 'naturelook' with all the plants. If we go back to Berlin for some more sightseeing, it would def. be at this hotel again.

For the more hot nights airconditioning or a fan would be nice. Reception was closed at 20:15 instead of 21:00 our second night, so we couldn't ask if the sauna was still accessible.
