Hotel Lindenwirt

Pretty hotel, with large comfortable rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are large & showers are very good. The service was very good. There was a large buffet breakfast which we chose to eat on the terrace. We loved the ambiance of the hotel. Absolutely stunning views down the Drosselgasse from the hotel. Brilliant location. Great place to experience the wine culture of the Rhine. Good value hotel.

It was very hot when we were there & the rooms don't have air conditioning. They did however have fans. Keep in mind that the location means that the rooms are located right above the areas where people are drinking & bands play until about 11. Not a problem though if you want to get in the midst of the fun!

Hotel LIndenwirt is a charming German hotel in the middle of Rudesheim. The rooms are older but clean and maintained well. The breakfast is very good and excellent value included for the stay. If you are driving in, be sure to request parking. Having a parking spot clearly reserved for you in the middle of Rudesheim is a HUGE perk. Just have to be careful driving into the hotel respecting the correct steer (one-way) to and then out of the hotel. Tourists are usually in the road thinking it is a pedestrian-only street.

Nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. We love the charm of the hotel and it's location. This is our second time staying there, so we knew what to expect. If you are looking for a new and modern hotel, this isn't the place for you.

Beautiful hotel, great location and delicious restaurant and parking on site. I loved how not only are they dog-friendly but provide dog food bowls and blankets in the room.

The room badly needs to be modernized. The two twin beds pushed together kept moving apart and were sooo soft you felt like you were sinking into the mattress or afraid if you leaned too far left or right you'd slip right out of the bed. The phone is the oldest thing I've ever seen. A small refridgorater would be nice. The bathroom could use some modernizing. I was also unhappy with the amount of spider webs we found in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff made our stay at the Lindenwirt effortless. The breakfast selection was good. The hotel is in the town centre right next to the Drosselgasse, which is one of the main tourist attractions, so it is quite busy nearby. It's a traditional hotel with lots of character, which we enjoyed.

There is no air conditioning, so the bedroom was quite warm overnight when we visited as it was a particularly warm period. There was a fan provided in the room however, so that does help.

Location is very good, just in the heard of Rudesheim. Its a rather old and traditional hotel, but serves all the needs for a good night over. Breakfast is sufficient and staff is very friendly, especially if you consider, that they are swamped by all kind of tourists at this time. Patient, friendly and polite. What more can you ask for?

If you don't like an 'those were the days' charm, but want something modern, move on, but be prepared to pay a price for that.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Lindenwirt. The hotel has a very strong traditional flair and perfect location being right on the historic Drosselgasse. The rooms are spacious and fully renovated. The hotel restaurant offers great food and local wine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They did their best to find and book a table for us at the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening despite our arrival and check-in late in the afternoon.

It was quite noisy until late at night, but that is probably normal on Saturday at a fully booked hotel.

Great staff, great breakfast, fun quaint inn to stay at. Loved arriving to a reserved parking spot. That was a very classy touch. Great restaurant with very tasty local cuisine.

It would have been nice to have coffee/tea in the room. Also, it was a little difficult to find the side street it was on. We missed it twice before finding the correct lane way, but that’s our own fault.

Location is always important to me. This hotel is right in the middle of the old town, so once you park, you don't need the car for the rest of the day. They have their own restaurant, which is convenient as well.

Breakfast didn't start until 8am. When I travel, I usually have breakfast at 7am & I'm on the road by 8am, so this cut out an hour of my sightseeing. Of the 12 hotels I used during this trip, this hotel was the only one that didn't have breakfast starting at 8. I'm not sure if it is always this way, but it is the only thing I did't like.

Location is excellent and an easy walk from the station. We came from London by train and doable in a day to get here. Right in the heart of Old Town and easy reach to all the things. Lovely hotel with lots of character. Breakfast was lovely and overlooked drosselgasse with a taste of the hotels own sparkling wine on offer as well (its not apple juice so if you are driving don't have it lol :)

Beds were very hard but otherwise it was fab

Hotel is in a great location with its own secure carpark which was good for my motorrad. The rooms were ok and a little dated, broken shower head and toilet roll holder ATD could be a little better. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful the staff were great and very friendly.

Decor is a little tired, needs some TLC and a fan in the room would help as it was very warm.
