InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort

The hotel has a great location very nice beach very nice pool area.I think it is the best location for beach and ocean.It was really windy when I was at cancun but the ocean was very nice.They have very polite and friendly staff and helpful.The hotel is much nicer than it looks in the photos.

there is no transfer organisation from airport to hotel.There is too manypeople calling taxi outside of airport from the rate 180 american dolar to 45 american dolar.This kind of hotel should organize transportation.My room was at ground floor I pick it because it says it is with balcony yes it had a balcony but it was almost below ground level.But overall it was a nice big room and very clean.

Beautiful hotel, great location, clean comfortable rooms and the beaches were stunning and clean. Area very secure and felt safe throughout trip. Breakfast buffet was really good with great selection. Restaurants onsite really good. The concierge were very helpful with arranging taxis. Spa treatments and spa staff were fantastic. Covid precautions were good everyone took it seriously and the complimentary antigen test was great.

Have to pay extra for a room with a balcony even if you pay extra for a room with a view which defeats the purpose. Reception staff were very slow and seemed to have no sense of urgency which was bizarre as all other staff were extremely helpful, efficient and great especially concierge, restaurant staff and cleaners. I had ordered a birthday package through the hotel which arrived late and only after I chased up with reception who seemed uninterested along with other issues we had. Bathroom was a bit outdated and shower made funny noise when turned on. WIFI outage 2 days during trip didn't help but prior to that WIFI was very reliable.

Lovely beach facing and outside spaces. Large pool with jacuzzis in the surrounds. We were impressed with the cleverly landscaped gardens with a second pool and a great bar and restaurant with views over the sea. Food consistently excellent and nice staff

Low spec accommodation building. It was like the surrounds had been beautifully upgraded and the rooms with poor glazing and no balconies had a low grade feel. Spartan! Our bedroom had ugly sound proofing panels and a lopsidedly hung TV. Noise from busy highway but it did have a superb view.

All about the beach and its location. If you want a peaceful private beach minutes from your room, it delivers. Sun loungers and location are all great. Staff helpful. Would recommend for a short stay.

Breakfast was disappointing. As with all resort type hotels it is good to move on (from the hotel zone and Cancun) ,if possible, to get a real experience of Mexico, locals & culture, otherwise all you'll see are fellow tourists.

nice people at reception upgraded to a beach front room, very nice and efficient personnel all across, exceptionally good food for a hotel, the beach is one of the best in Cancun

Americans without consideration for others with regards to covid measures such as wearing masks or keeping safe distances, nor following hotels rules. And it was nort a few 90% did not wear face masks nor followed rules.

great location, clean beach, friendly and helpful staff.. what more could you ask for! The breakfast buffet changed daily and was of a high standard with something for everyone and staff that couldn’t do enough for you. Only stayed for 4 nights, wish we had stayed for more

The hotel has a great location, a nice beach, the food is really good. They have a great staff very friendly, polite and helpful. They clean every day your room I loved that!

Everything was good for me, my only complaint is that they don't offer a shuttle

I would like to start with positives. The hotel is well maintained, the beach is outstanding. Two swimming pools allow for a comfortable, not too crowded swim when the beach fulls up. The grounds are very well maintained and are beautiful. Covid precautions are in place and are observed. Breakfast can be slow because of it. There's no self service and the hotel guests are served by slightly overwhelmed servers. The food is fresh and delicious. It was comfortable, with rooms cleaned every day and the stock of water and delicious coffee refilled. One thing I wish the hotel had was a ventilation system in the bathroom. A must have for any family with kids 😉

On the down side: We came in pretty late and ran to the beach as it was a must see for kids. When we came back to the room it was already dark outside. I felt that my bed was sandy, but I dismissed it thinking that the kids put their sandy feet all over. Next morning, however, in the bright light of the day I saw that it was not sand at all. The bed linen was littered with small black dots (which, based on Mr. Google, are bed bug droppings). I am not prone to panic, but it was slightly alarming. We went down and asked that all linen is changed. The staff immediately put us up in a different room, which was very clean. (I checked). I feel these things happen in hotels, even the best of the them. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clear, calm beach with stunning day beds and a restaurant on the sand (try the mahi mahi). Perfect wifi for working remotely. A big thanks to Esther from the Front Desk who was so patient as we watched the French Open final during check in and Luis in Catering for his attention to detail. We were also able to get our Covid tests on site for the flight home.

We liked the distance from the main shopping strip but some people might want to be closer to high end retail. Personally, we just wanted to unwind and that’s what we got in a great setting.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was also good.

I wish the resort was all inclusive.
