Excellent. Would have given full marks for everything, but that means perfection. Only minor detail was orange juice and water at the breakfast table on the first morning, but not the second. You set the bar on the first day :-). Loved the rooms and all available bouquets on TV. Loved the view. Good shower head and water pressure. Given a guest house, more than enough privacy. Annatjie and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very safe and peaceful surroundings.

Everything was nice. Host was welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. View on the patio to the golf course whilst having breakfast was nice. Lots of birds and lush green lawns.

This is personal preference. I like sleeping in a dark room. The room had an opening in the ceiling with a window. It was bright as soon as the sun comes up. No way to cover the opening. But that is personal preference.

Everybody was very friendly and accommodating! Service was 5star! Will never go to any other hotel/guesthouse when I'm in that area again. Annatjie and I had such a nice conversation and shared beautiful memories of our lost loved ones. Thank you for making my heartbroken time more bearable.

Just a suggestion : some ice cubes in the freezer would be great.

Everything - The staff were friendly, helpful and they put an incredible amount of effort into the breakfast. The shower is nice and big and the "shower head" sprays a strong stream of water - I have slept at many B&B's where the shower head sprays in 7 different directions with everything wet except YOU... A plus was the environment is quiet and peaceful.

Great, tasty and appealing breakfast. Attention to detail by the staff, personal touch and genuine interest in their guest's comfortable stay. It is a home away from home. We have booked for our next trip in May. Only suggestion is to have more comfy pillows to sleep on. Management and staff are fantastic..

Outstanding service. We were escorted everywhere , recommended & driven to great restaurants & even cooked for. Our hostess could not have done more to please & to make our stay enjoyable. Her assistant was utterly charming & helpful.

The swimming pool is merely a plunge pool.

Annietjie and her staff were so welcoming and friendly. We could meet up with a few friends for coffee at the guesthouse as we only had 1 night in Pretoria. Beautiful room and views. A truly special and unique guesthouse in Pretoria East. Wish we could have stayed longer to walk and explore more. We will be back.

The fridge in the room made a lot of noise. Wifi failed with load shedding.

Very peaceful. Breakfast served overlooking the golf course. Very good breakfast, really enjoyed it. Everything is there that you need. Even turn down service at night. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The location is very good, close to large shopping malls, movie theaters and hospitals. It is in a secure estate which make it safe. Next to the golf course and beautiful gardens

The only problem I had - there is a hairdryer in the room but no adaptor to use it. The staff quickly helped with it though.

The Woodpecker Inn is a little haven in the heart of Eastern Pretoria. The welcome from Brandon was great and nothing was too much trouble for him. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious. Annatjie is a gracious hostess and one can see that she pays attention to detail.

I would just change one very minor thing and that is to exchange the keys in the room doors to key cards. The keys are quite noisy when opening the doors and may disturb other guests who are sleeping or resting.
