Town Lodge Menlo Park

Location is good. Room was clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

I asked for a room on the ground floor, but got one on the first floor. I was with my sister who can only walk when holding on to my arm due to brain surgery. I had to carry all our luggage up the stairs. The outlet of the basin was not working properly. After brushing my teeth ànd washing my face, the water remained in the basin and drained very slowly, leaving a layer in the basin. After trying to clean the basin, the process repeated. We are coffee drinkers. We could only drink coffee before going to bed. There were not coffee for early the next morning. 2 sachets of coffee per person would have been nice.

The staff were very friendly from the moment I walked in. It had a late check-in and it was good to know they accomodate individuals at odd hours. The room was comfortable and clean, with your normal basics in a hotel room...tea, coffee, soap, shampoo. There was no hairdryer or mini fridge in the room. This is a acceptable option if you want to check in late and explore the surrounds of Lynwood and Menlo

The TV channels were fuzzy and the selection was very poor.

I love everything. I most loved the personalised emergency exist plan they got for safety purposes at the back of the door Not sure about their food because we did not utilise the restaurant. There’s also a very convenient ice maker machine for the drinks

Would recommend they add 2plates and cutlery same way they put 2cups and glasses inside the room. I didn’t like the fact that we had to go downstairs to request for an iron, would be nice to request via intercom or telephone especially when it’s not even available, they still had to get it from other guest

Location was great and very close to both the main road to town and shopping mall while it also closer to the National road (N1) Breakfast Not Applicable; We did not book the breakfast at the Vanue due to our limited time in the money Flexi checkout time

We book very late and the room that was available was the one with the two single beds in it which was not the intension with my partner. Limited TV channels and therefore we could not watch our regular TV progrems

Everything was great. Special shoutout to the lady at the front desk who assisted us with our check-in - Zondiwe. She displayed excellent customer service and was willing to help us amend a few details on our booking without being annoyed in any way. So incredibly pleased with her positive and willing attitude to go the extra mile for us. We need more people with this attitude who is client facing. Thank you!

Nothing to complain about

No issues clean and comfy. Someone helped us set up a ps5 by taking the tv off the wall to do it. Great customer service and all the other staff are informative, friendly and helpful. And great location next to menlyn mall.

Nothing i can think of. And I've been to alot of hotels this past month. Maybe abit small but its fine if you're not staying that long.

It was good

However, i would expected that there would have more activities that clients could enjoy apart from the Bar and swimming pool. Being a visitor and risk that there are, i think that there should be more activities for guest. No laundry service or ironing service (there was iron available) No SPA service

We had a wonderfull stay Home away from home. The staff of Town Lodge Menlo Park is the best!!! They have gone out of there way to make our stay comfortable and very special...thank you for that!

Would be great if there was a fridge in our room. I am diabetic and had to keep my insulin on ice in my room.

Did not take up offer for breakfast as when I checked that was an extra, yet when i booked it advised it was part of the rate. Location to Menlyn shopping centre was ideal as that is where I did business
