Great location for San Sebastián - located on the opposite side of the Old Town so you can get a break from the crowds. Bus right outside the door of the hotel and will bring you on 10 minute journey to the Old Town. Hotel right beside beach and a lovely 25 - 30 min walk into the Old Town/Centro via the promenade. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good, booked on the basis of good reviews from Irish visitors.

Would like room to have been properly cleaned. Duvet that was in press had dog hair on it (dogs are allowed) once we asked staff it was changed. Could be noisy as room faced onto a busy road.

The hotel is nicely located not too far from the beach and very close to the large conference center (Palacio Miramar). The area of the city is more peaceful then old town, but old town is accessible by nice walk at seaside or by bus. The staff of the hotel is helpful and friendly. During my 2 weeks stay I was living in three rooms: single (3rd flor), double (3rd flor) and double superior (7th flor). The last of them was most expensive but certainly worth the money, with large terrace, beautiful view on the sea and the city. Me and my wife were enjoying stay there. The double room was OK, but nothing particular. Clean and correct. The single room at 3rd flor was suffering problems with ventilation and bad smell was coming from the toilet. Anyhow, the hotel was nice and I would recommend it.

Located on the main road into town, easy walk to anywhere. We got an upgrade for an additional 20.00€ per night - excellent value! We were on the top floor, away from traffic, with a great view of the harbour. The room was huge, with a superb king size bed. Breakfast was great, also good value. A nice selection of hot and cold, with fruit and good coffee.

Our room was at the end of the upper floor, so the Wifi was struggling. But a small price to pay for such a great room. There is no bespoke adjacent parking, the hotel car park is a short walk and quite expensive at 19€ per day. It was full anyway, which turned out fortunate as we found a spot on the road opposite the Hotel for 3.15€ a day! You just have to remember to renew your ticket daily...

The location of the hotel was great, and it was a beautiful walk along the beach promenade to the old town, which was perfect for us as we came with our dog. We were on the 6th floor and had a lovely view of the town and sea. We had booked a triple room, but this was unavailable upon our arrival so they gave us two connecting double rooms, which we really appreciated! The staff were all very kind and helpful.

It would be good if there were additional darker curtains, as the white curtains allow quite a lot of light through, especially in the early mornings.

This hotel is perfect for anyone travelling to San Sebastian. As a solo traveller it felt very safe. The staff are fantastic, especially Laura the head receptionist. What an asset she is to the hotel. She helped me sort my bus tickets, my taxis, train timetables ..tours ...the list is endless. She made my stay there even better. Nothing was a problem for her.Thank you Laura! The hotel is outside the town but in my opinion a perfect setting. The bus stops outside the hotel front door. It takes 8 minutes to get to old town. Or a nice 30min walk on the prom.Ondaretta beach is 5 min walk away too. I hope i am lucky enough to get back to Donostia one day. If i do i will be staying in Hotel Codina. I had a seaview room with balcony.

My laundry bill😆😆i had a smallish bag of laundry as had been travelling for a few weeks. Bill was 94e...my own fault though as i didnt check prices beforehand!!

Sercotel Codine is a hotel we have stayed in numerous times when we have visited San Sebastian, so this visit was no different. The hotel has a good location with bars and restaurants nearby and also close to the beach. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and I am sure we will be back in the future. It is easy to get to the old town either by a 15-20min or or take the bus which stops right outside the hotel.

modern clean rooms, well appointed, opening windows. Dog friendly - even a food/water bowl provided. Lift to all floors from garage (the garage can only be accessed by key via reception staff when going back to vehicle so nice and secure). Entrance to garage from outside is via camera controlled by reception (check in first, there's a parking bay right outside the hotel for this purpose). Lots of local eateries, bakeries etc on the roads behind the hotel and along the street. There's also a few supermarkets/grocery stores. Short walk to the west end of the beach where there is a nice garden promenade.

Car parking is expensive although for us with a dog and a wheelchair user it was more convenient than searching for street parking in neighbouring streets.

Wonderful location; 10 minute walk to first beach. Very spacious room, fridge & kettle also in the room. Sea view was a lovely surprise. Very clean. Receptionist Blanka was super helpful. Breakfast options were in the restaurant or hotel cafe (prices were very reasonable indeed). Hotel offered us secure parking which was ideal. Fabulous stay - wish it had been longer.

24 hour service was a blessing. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and able to give advice on parking given the hotel parking was full. Closeness to the beach and funiculares was nice. Room was spacious.

Breakfast buffet was a bit overpriced and more to be desired. We couldn’t stop eating the mini chocolate donuts though. Likely they were store bought.

Location - 35 min walk to the old city along the beaches, 5 mion walk to the closest beach, 10 min walk to funicular. You definitely need to walk one block to the parallel street where all great cafes, restaurants, and interesting city area are, that makes your view of the hotel/a "bla" street this hotel is on very improved.
