We booked the basic double room but when we arrived we thought the bed was small so requested a room change. There were no other double rooms available so we were offered a suite for 25 euro extra per night. The suite was beautiful, so spacious and comfortable. It even had a hot tub! Initially on arrival the motel seemed in an unusual place for a hotel as it’s situated right beside apartment blocks but the location was actually great . It’s a 20 minute walk into the city but as a result it’s quiet and there’s underground car parking for 18 euro per day. You can also get a bus or taxi if you don’t fancy walking. We had breakfast at the hotel one day which was lovely. It’s a big buffet with lots of choice. If you book the day before, it’s cheaper.

There aren’t good views

Location, our room was ready early and there was a parking space available in the garage.

The price, once we had paid for the dog and parking as well. BUT that’s the result of San Sebastián being so lovely and popular. Also we are lucky that our dog is elderly so we have a chariot for him to be in,to conserve his energy, which means he can be with us all the time. For other travellers not leaving their dog in the room alone could be a challenge. We also couldn’t sit in the bar with him so whilst your dog can stay in your room - as long as someone is always with the dog (you sign a document agreeing to this and other things) - the hotel is not what I would call”dog-friendly”.

Beds are very comfortable, AC is good, bathroom spacious and good for shower. Location is pretty convenient to get to the center/bus station in 20 min walk. It is very clean.

One window makes room pretty dark, space is reduced by inner pillars (and makes it cramped), there is only kettle (no coffee machine) and unusual small cups (not for tea). The picture does not represent room much, but comfy beds and good AC means a lot.

All the hotel staff are friendly and efficient. The cafe bar is pleasant. Parking under the hotel is a bonus and much needed in San Sebastian. Rooms are a reasonable size and well maintained.

The Restaurant menu was a little more fast food than a full restaurant menu, although the Basque snacks are good. The wardrobe in the room was more suited to short stays than our full week. The shower and bath tap access meant you had to get in the bath to turn the water on, also the water temperature is limited and getting a 'hot' bath was not viable as it was luke warm before getting in.

The location is in the Amara area. It takes about 30 minutes walk to the city center along the Urumea River. The rooms are modern arranged, the cleanliness, important, is adequate. Breakfast standard, I liked that they have fresh orange juice. The garage is on the 3rd underground level, at the beginning you have to think about how to get to it despite the instructions at the reception.

The hotel is located next to a noisy & busy road, you have to keep the window closed at night to sleep. The windows are soundproof.

Overall the hotel was well presented and clean. Rooms were good but we didn't get cushions but my children did. Great it had a gym and hot tub.

The price of the parking was a lot considering the amount we paid for the rooms. There was no English tea with milk in the rooms. Reception failed to tell us about the gym, we would have used it if we knew! Also, the hot tub was no warm enough to use. Disappointing. Why was there music playing outside our room at 3am in the morning?

My husband and I have just returned to the UK after a wonderful 5 nights staying in this great hotel. We loved the quiet location. and enjoyed the pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of town and La Concha beach. There is plenty of independent shops including bakeries, coffee shops and bars along the way. We also walked along the river side which again leads you to the centre and Zurriola beach. The staff on reception were all very friendly and helpful. I had misplaced my spectacles. One of helpful ladies on reception rang a bar that we had been in to see if anyone had handed them in. For this I was very grateful. The staff who worked in the bar and those working at breakfast time were all amazing. Breakfast was very busy at times and the young lady was very efficient at bringing out more food We booked room only at a very good rate indeed. I had initially booked to stay at the Zenit San Martin, however the room rate was £1417 and even though I did book a room with a balcony I decided it just wasn't worth paying all that money just to be a couple of minutes from the beach. Therefore I cancelled and booked this hotel for a rate of £630. To me it was a no brainer. The rooms look to be the same in both hotels I certainly didn't regret my decision. We had breakfast 4 mornings out of 5. I have to say even though there's plenty good quality bakeries and coffee bars. The hotel offers much more and at 11 euros, it is great value. The breakfast is fantastic. We ate in the hotel bar one evening, again the food was very nice and we thought it value for money. We loved our spacious room which was very light and modern. There's enough hanging space in the wardrobe. The room was extremely clean. We were not expecting the room to be cleaned during our stay as we did not request this. However we would return each evening to find a cleaned room and a change of towels. There was even a bar of chocolate and a nice note one evening.

Nothing to dislike.

We had a one night stay and unfortunately my daughter left her passport behind .we then travelled 6 hours before we realised. When we returned another 6 hours later, having missed our ferry home, we were informed it was found in the room 15 minutes after we left .although it clearly wasn’t the staffs fault it was left , they had all our contact details and could have saved us £500 and a lot of inconvenience . Very poor !!!!

Really clean, modern rooms. Loads of space. Not too far from the center, it was a lovely 15 minute walk. The staff were all extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. Their taxi service was also top notch, we never waited more than 5 mins for a taxi.

Our only problem was the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

Breakfast and bar great. Staff too.

Practicality loses out to style. While the rest of the hotel is excellent, the rooms - - while stylish - - are rather impractical. No door knobs (tricky slots instead), no drawers, the only shelf with two ends too high to reach, oceans of wasted space and a dizzying selection of 14 (fourteen) light switches. Also bathroom sealant roughly done.
