Ibis Budget Madrid Calle 30

The hotel is located very close to a metro station, which was the main reason why we chose the hotel. The hotel is not very far away from the centre, and there are a lot of shops close by (e.g. fast food restaurants, supermarket open 24/7), that really helped whenever we required something. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. Moreover, compared with other accommodations, this hotel was quite cheap.

The shower was next to the bed, and not in a room alone. We also did not have a fridge or kettle within the room, meaning that we were very limited with what we could do if we wanted something. The breakfast was a bit basic (just cereal, bread and yogurt).

One of the cheapest places in Madrid within the crazy prices we founnd in this city. The place is very friendly with nice decor, staff was very thoughtful during our stay and they probably were the most positive aspect of our stay, helping to make the best of our stopover in Madrid! Bedroom was basic and the bed was comfortable.

Would just suggest for some upgrade in terms of sound proofing to the exterior, the bedrooms placed towards the highway have a lot of noise from the cars :)

I have traveled for over 40 years staying in basic hotels - this hotel, staff, short walk (four minutes) to the number 1 train - which is the best train for Madrid's sites, was among the best of hundreds, if not thousands, of hotels / motels that I have stayed. The value was excellent, the location was excellent, the room was super clean - I've never seen so many cleaning staff on each floor (I had two rooms - one room for our son and girlfriend on another floor). The hotel staff is super helpful. Also, the area is fun with many shops open late.

Nothing - only wish we could have stayed longer!

- Great location; - Not large but comfortable room; - Very quiet, you could not hear anything from the street; - Nice breakfast.

- The 'handle' of the shower door is a hole open in the glass, on the side of the shower itself. This means that, even with the towel, there will be always water on the floor outside the shower. Also, when you rotate the door to exit, the drops will fall on the ground in the bedroom; - There is no place to hang towels near the shower; - There was some dirt on the walls that could be easily cleaned.

Accommodation is located 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. Metro line runs directly through Atocha station to the city center. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was good, and overall, everything is OK value for money!

The room was on the ground floor, with a large window looking directly onto the street. The street is relatively quiet, but loud passers-by occasionally disturbed my sleep.

I loved the Ibis! The staff are super friendly, it was clean and quiet, and it felt really safe. It's next to an enormous highway but it somehow doesn't feel like it. You'll be very close to Puente de Vallecas station on Metro line 1, which is super useful!

I didn't love the toilet in the room...! It's more like a toilet stall, so not a lot of privacy if you're traveling with someone else.

Good price for what you get. Everything as expected to be. Pretty good location at 10 minutes walk from metro/subway station. Shops and restaurants in the area. The normal Ibis Budget concept.

There is nothing not to like as it is assumed that you know what you have booked. It is only one inconvenient fact and that is that the hotel is not in the city center. But, as I said, this is an already known fact. And one of the reasons for the good price.

The room had dark blinds so it was easy to sleep despite the lights on the highway it is located. The place had everything for a comfortable stay

The bathroom and the toilet had no latches hence there might be no privacy for someone sharing the room. The location is a bit far from the centre but thankfully there's good metro system so it is easy to travel.

Great value. Breakfast very good. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet and we had a great night's sleep. Also it was very convenient to Metro to the city centre and it was great to be able to leave our baggage at the hotel and collect it later for our flight home.

Size of the queen room is a little on the small side, but fine for a short stay.

Hotel was close to metro station and staff vas very helpful and polite. The mattress had right softness for me, medium hard. If You are used to medium hardness mattress, hotel is great choice.

My room was on the highway side and You can hear traffic noise even when window is closed. Not good choice for noise sensitive people. Facilities are really budget as shower cabin is literally in the same room as bed.
