I usually do not leave reviews for hotel stays, but Algodon Mansion deserves the best review I could ever leave for anywhere I have ever stayed. First off, the boutique hotel, although it only has 10 rooms, was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms were spaciously amazing, comfortable, clean, full of amenities and you felt like a King and Queen in their very comfortable beds with exquisite decor and artwork. We loved the fire place too! We traveled with friends and they made sure our rooms were on 1 floor together which just shows the detail that they take with people when they book with them. Thank you Leonardo! You will have access to a full bar 24 hours a day, and since they are also owners of a winery in Mendoza, you have all the delicious wine to drink. They keep a spread of either cold cuts, breads, pastries, desserts and snacks at all hours of the day and they will even let you order whatever you want for breakfast every morning from the restaurant next door which is also included with your stay. The even bigger bonus is that they will deliver the meal to your room for your convenience. One thing I loved is that they keep the front door locked all day which made me feel that much more safe and comfortable. The location was perfect! We walked all over town, when you arrive back, you are greeted with a huge smile from Sophia or Nicolas as they run to let you in. The staff...They were not just staff, they became our friends. They are like a family. ALL were caring, warm and would take the time to help us with bookings for restaurants, hair salons, cars, tours, whatever you want, they are there to help you. We truly miss every one of them. Thank you for making our stay the best! Until we meet again, thank you Leonardo, Federico, Sophia, Nicholas and Rodrigo! We know that we will see you again soon and we would not book a stay with any other hotel in Buenos Aries! Thank you for making our stay the BEST and most enjoyable!

This is the second time we stayed an Mansión Algodón. It is simply wonderful. Not only the building and rooms are wonderful, but the four members of the staff were fantastic. All of them helped us with anything we needed or simply asked us if we wanted a drink and had great conversations. We felt completely at home. Leonardo, Sofy and Federico (we are missing one name!). We loved the lobby with snacks and drinks opened at all hours (even at 5 am!). We can't recommend this place enough, we wish other big cities could have places like this, especially their friendliness, warmth and attention to detail with guests. We have traveled all over the world and Mansion Algodón is on top of our list!

EVERYTHING!!!! Staff was WONDERFUL to us. We were greeted by name at all times, room and all facilities were impeccable. For first time visitors to Buenos Aires, this was the perfect place to start. Breakfast and all refreshments were excellent-I am confused as to how anyone would not love the selection and all beverage choices. Safe, clean, so helpful, you will be happy you chose them!

There is nothing not to love! Possibly if you like a pool to swim laps in, this one would be too small for that.

The property is located in the heart of Recoleta. It being a boutique hotel, we felt that as guests, we were well looked after, received that personal touch that one does not necessarily get when staying in a chain hotel. The exceptional staff was warm, friendly with many good suggestions to explore the city and beyond. Leonardo, Rodrigo, Sofia, Federico, Nicholas, Gisel truly made our first visit to Argentina and Buenos Aires truly memorable! It is a stunning mansion that has been converted to a luxury boutique hotel. We would highly recommend it when visiting Buenos Aires. Many thanks to Algodon Mansion… until next time!

It would have been nice if the property had an outside patio or terrace for guests to sit at and have a drink or coffee.

Well the setting is amazing...bang smack in the very best spot in Buenos Aires. The 10 suites are spectacular....huge...gorgeous...with humungus beds you never want to get out of. And so so quiet considering it is in the centre of the city. But all of this pales in comparison to Leonardo! He is sublime. Courteous, charming, genuine, couldn't do more to help us...nearly kidnapped him. Everyone should have a Leonardo in their life. (Sophia and Nicholas are fabulous too)

Sadly the rooftop pool was under reconstruction but actually so much to do in Buenos Aires that it wasn't the end of the world.

Staff made us very welcome, The accommodation was Relaxing and quiet

The shower controls were difficult to under stand and I could never get the overhead shower unit to work correctly also when you open and close the shower door the water would wash on to the floor

Everything!! a truly magnificent building. Beautiful suites. Wonderful staff. The complimentary breakfast, snacks, coffees and wines were amazing. we’ve always stayed at the Alvear Palace but this is now our ‘home’ in Buenos Aires.

Absolutely nothing.

Wonderful staff, beautiful decor and a great location made this a terrific stay. Add on the little extras such as free drinks at the in-house bar, really sealed the deal. Definitely one to come back to.

Location, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Tasteful decor/ambiance. Good value.

Staff may benefit from more formal training (i.e. we had a cleaning service coming into our bedroom without knocking out the door). But overall, they were all truly wonderful and helpful!
